I was lurking over at the Screw Loose Change forum this morning, and one of their blog post today is from The Pilots for Denial blog. A DUmmie calls the FBI and claims to have MIHOP, LIHOP info on 9/11.

I spent three weeks over there before getting tossed. The level of mental illness there is not exaggerated. Insane assumptions and complete misunderstanding of reality are everywhere. I thought people reporting such on this board were just being partisan, but it really is the case.

I was thinking that the poor people answering phones showed some amazing patience. I suspect they get dozens of calls from nutjobs demanding to be taken seriously every day.

The sad part is that he clearly takes himself very seriously. What kind of a nutjob thinks they can order the US govt to "tell the truth" based on "evidence" collected by watching James Brolin and Babs on TV.

I worked for the government in the '80's. We got a call from a well-spoken woman who told us that the communists had camouflaged tanks and other large military equipment as heavy equipment on a road crew in the center of a large city.

The poor dear believed it, and she was trying to save the nation.

Yeah, what was that all about? I came across some poor woman who used to come in where I worked and grab people to tell them that the CIA had closed her whole neighborhood and all the people were missing. Needless to say, the cops called an ambulance and she was taken out in a standing stretcher. Cops said it wasn't the first time for her. This guy better watch it. Its one thing to think it, another to be considered a nuisance. He needs some help.

During Clinton's term, we had people on FR who swore the UN was building camps to warehouse people after Clinton declared "marshall" law because of Y2K and arrested all the gun-owners/Christians/conservatives in the country. Black Helicopters were circling their houses, watching them because they criticized the government.

I believe we don't always get the whole truth from government but it's not because they want to imprison or kill us all. The real reasons are much more mundane.

One would be to cover up incompetence. Another is for national security reasons and a third would be to prevent exposure of ongoing investigations.
