According to confirmed reports from inside of Iran, 14 ex-muslims who converted to christianity were arrested a week ago in cities of Karaj, Tehran and Rasht.
Reports from US backed RadioFarda.com tell us that these new christians were trying to hold religious gathering to celebrate christmas and they are charged with converting from Islam to christianity and according the sharia law, the penalty for such act is death.
Their bibles, religious books & symbols, CDs and other personal stuff were seized by the authorities.
The families of these detainees staged a rally in front of the judicial ministry but their peaceful gathering was met with brutal actions of the ministry of intelligence agents.
The name of the christian detainees are:
In city of Rasht: Shaheen Taghizadeh, Yosef Noorkhani, Mathias Hagh-Nejad, Parviz Khalaj, Muhammad Belyad, Peyman Salarvand, Sohrab Sayadi, Mr. Davood and Mr. Amin.
City of Tehran: Mrs. Shirin Sadegh, Mr. Behrooz Sadegh, Mr. Hamid-Reza Tolou'ee
City of Karaj: Mr. Behnam Irani & Mr. Bahman Irani (brothers)
The families of these above mentioned detainees ask all people from all around the world to raise their concern with their governments and help secure the release of their loved ones from the jails of the Islamic regime of Iran.

Converting to Christianity is a pretty heinous act. The ACLU is even now trying to make that a Capitol Offense here in the United States. The 9th circuit in California has already stated it would be Constiitutional.
This is a panic reaction on the part of Moslem clerics, who are hemorrhaging followers. So many Moslems have become utterly disgusted with the religion that no longer practicing it isn't enough, they have to convert to Christianity for the singular reason to say "I am not a Moslem."
Their biggest losses are in Africa, where both Anglicans and Evangelicals are hard-pressed to build enough churches for their new converts.
While statistics are hard to find, the religious authorities in Saudi Arabia track their losses, and are very concerned.
Islam is dead in Iran especially among the younger generations, I'm telling you
Unfortunately, even if Islam dies in the young generations, so will everyone who refuses to pretend to practice it.

The authorities here are acting not against man but against
God. No one should think that God has not seen the way his people are treated. In the long term God will grind these countries down until they repent.
This is appalling, but not surprising.
If the left in America could figure out a way to arrest Christians they would do the same thing.
Being a firm believer in diplomacy and reciprocity -- I think perhaps we should adopt some of Islam's practices toward the non-Islamic world, and show a level of contempt for "unfriendly" practices and habits observed in our Muslim inhabitants.
1. No more Mosques to be built in the West - until Churches, Temples, Synagogues and places of worship for other religions are permitted THROUGHOUT the Muslim world - including Saudi Arabia..and NOT ATTACKED on every Islamic lunatic's presumed justification.
2. Any American resident, including free or imprisoned Americans of any race, who leave any prior religious sect to become Muslim --will be executed.
3. Anyone dressed in head and face covering attire will be considered of an "unknown" gender and prevented from entering into ANY gender specific location in America - such as restrooms, dressing rooms, women's or men's only sections of ANY venue or be considered as part of any Male/Female quota grouping. Any Muslim "women" so attired who behaves in a manner that justifies a male or female to beat her senseless -- has no claim of cruelty against the man for beating a woman.
4. Any Muslim who intentionally draws attention to themselves in ANY public place or public vehicle of transportation by verbal utterances of Muslim worship -- will be asked to disembark from that means of transportation.
Second offenders will be added to the "No Ride" or No Fly" National list of those deemed inadmissible to public transportation.
5. Any Muslim shown to be engaged in ANY illegal support of militant Islamic crimes against Western society - will be deported with their entire family to the country of their citizenship.
If an American citizen - charges will be filed and prosecuted in EVERY instance.
Conviction will be grounds to repeal citizenship and deport to previous country of origin..

That is actually true and I am among them. I converted to Christianity when I was 12 (now I'm 21) and I was arrested along with my family in a small town for openly celebrating Christmas at my parents' home. I was 14 at the time.
The only reason why we were released was that we were very wealthy and had great (and I mean GREAT!) lawyers. We can only hope these detainees will be so fortunate. Somehow I doubt it....God help them.

Oh yes, I am not suprised that the Muslim clerics are going nuts with the lost of more Muslim believers to both Jesus and the Christian faith. Not only the Evangelicals and the Anglicans in Africa, but the Catholic church has seen a lot of growth in new believers as well. It is a good sign that the Gospel is going out to the nations. Also a sign that the Christian church around the world have to face persicution for having faith in the Lord.
That's what I keep hearing but this nut Ahmedinejad must have been elected by someone. From the demographics in that country, a sizeable proportion of the young must have voted for this Hitler-wannabee and Holocaust denier.
