Arizona Jail Sentencing ?

When someone is found guilty of a misdemeanor and the sentencing is to occur, does this mean that person would be sentenced to jail immediately after the sentencing phase or do they schedule a date for you to report to jail?

In Virginia, depending on the misdemeanor, I have often seen the Prosection and Defense and the judge negotiate a report date and a manner of serving the sentence - weekends, work-release, etc.

If I expected to be found guilty of a misdemeanor, I'd discuss all this with my lawyer ahead of time, and if I were a victim and wanted the perp locked up right away I'd approach the prosecution.
