HUMINT: Political Illusion

POLITICAL ILLUSION: When the supportive architecture of a democratic society is misinterpreted and subsequently portrayed to be tyrannically suppressive.

POLITICAL VISION: The empowerment of officers in society to protect and serve all citizens’ liberties without infringing on existing democratic architecture.

ESSAY: Optical illusions are visually perceived Images that trick our senses into seeing what may or may not exist. For example, Rubin’s Vase is a popular, two dimensional illusion. Indeed, it’s a perfect specimen to illustrate the major premise of this essay. For the uninitiated, the curves of Rubin’s Vase double as a silhouette of two opposing human faces. If you are familiar with the illusion, it’s easy for an average observer to flip from a visual perception of a vase, to two faces. Rubin’s Vase is a relatively simple optical illusion. Most illusions are more complex. The origins of optical illusions probably derive from the way we choose to communicate with each other. Letters and numbers are paramount examples. Two dimensional representations of abstract concepts are rudimentary symbols. Inherently, all symbols are open to ambiguous interpretations. Therefore, symbols are a blessing with seemingly harmless, if not entertaining, illusionary side effects.

It is reasonable to believe, mankind’s first illusions came about when we started abstractly remembering our needs. Utilizing speculative anthropology, assume memories of prey tracks represent the origins of two dimensional communication techniques. Paws and hooves, acting as stamps in sand and mud, took information pertinent to tribal needs out of the time domain. We should infer ancient hand prints on cave walls were liberating their makers from the time domain in the same way they understood tracks liberate information about prey from the time domain. The difference between cave paintings and tracks is the subtle difference between art and nature. If cave paintings are indeed art, these graphics represent another human epiphany in time. The transition from cognitively manipulating information in one’s environment to satiate survival needs, to manipulating information for social expression was an important leap. Clearly, the change ripped the lid off Pandora’s Box.

Nonsense. We, the enlightened, are manipulating your sense of reality to keep you subservient to our whimsy. It all illusion. Your “reality” is merely the images we broadcast into your feeding pen to keep you all calm while we fatten you up for later slaughter. All “Humanity” amounts to is galactic organic beef.

Interesting quote – is it from Soylent Green?

The major premise of my piece is about Jeffersonian democracy supplanting utopian fantasies. You know; pursuing achievable goals, empowering democratic leaders… It’s my usual theme, repackaged and juxtaposed against another paradigm only created to entertain myself at the expense of the world. You sir, are just an avatar to me. All avatars are a blend of illusion and reality. Kinda funny, if you think about it. But I don't very often.

Well the globalist puppet masters are not far from that construction on reality. They just don’t realize that they are grist for the mill from satan’s string pulling.

The way I understand it, the creator of an avatar is suppose to invest characteristics in their own creation. My comment was not an assault on your ego. I made it to suggest a connection between the content I posted and the illusionary aspects of avatars in general. MNJohnie is your avatar, not you. It is your FreeRepublic identity, not your real identity. This is how I know you... this is what you are to me. This is a reality not intended to belittle your avatar or your actual identity. In any case, best of luck with your future sex and finances.

An avatar is an Internet user's representation of himself or herself, whether in the form of a three-dimensional model used in computer games,[1] a two-dimensional icon (picture) used on Internet forums and other communities,[2][3] or a text construct found on early systems such as MUDs or currently on the wikipedia. The term "avatar" can also refer to the personality connected with the screen name, or handle, of an Internet user.

My avatar, humint - AKA human intelligence - was created by me as a goal and a reminder. Human beings, with all of our flaws, have the capacity to be extremely intelligent. With that in mind, I have come to believe genius is an acquired characteristic requiring time, talent and luck to develop... Therefore, my avatar has a purpose and existence wholly separate from its creator. Avatars are not an origin of life; instead, they are an abstract extension of it.

The earth is God's cathedral. THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD - though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

INDEED.

Also, current reading is returning me to my earlier Pre-Trib perspective!

Well this certainly has been an enlightening thread. In a sense I am many Avatars. The person I am at work is perceived one way, the person I am on the Internet another and the person I am when riding my bike or roller blading is yet another, the guy mowing is lawn today yet a another.

Who “MNJohnnie” is, is more a perception of reality on the part of the viewer then who I think he is.

So how do you discover how your Avatar is viewed by others?

The person I am at work is perceived one way, the person I am on the Internet another and the person I am when riding my bike or roller blading is yet another, the guy mowing is lawn today yet a another.

The transition between virtual reality and reality is easy for most minds to navigate. What people do with characters in a video game is a fictitious expression. What people do with their life, is reality. FreeRepublic is an interesting merger of the two. That aside, my essay was about something more difficult to digest. A person may not become cognizant of an illusion, optical or political, if they are unable to perform objective and subjective experiments on it. That's why political illusions are plagued by dissidents and require dictators to sustain them. Political vision absorbs dissent. Indeed, informed dissent is visionary. Informed dissent is the grist of progress.

So how do you discover how your Avatar is viewed by others?

ask
