On this day in history TWA was downed - witnesses saw a streak of smoke like a trailing missile hit TWA 800.
If you believe the "official story" about TWA 800 that the Clinton Administration forced on the public with the help of the FBI and CIA you need to read this book and listen to all of the witnesses.
I’m convinced that this was an terrorist strike on our Airlines. Bill Clinton wanted this story to go away, so a "Center Fuel Tank" story was hatched, Janet Reno with the help of FBI and the CIA ran with this story. The last thing Bill Clinton wanted to do was tackle a BIG problem like Terrorism. He wanted to "kick that can" down the road.

Seems odd and a bit hard for me to believe that a "spark" would blow a plane up the way that one was.
The video that they initially started showing with what looked to be an exhaust trail leading to the plane is also hard to get over!

The career beauracrats in places like the CIA have been at war with Bush since he came into office. The CIA keeps secrets from the adminitration all the time. Why would they feel a need to let Bush in on this one?
Go check the book “First Strike” out at your library and read it, then get back with me on the tin foil hat jabs.

In the movie, "Independence Day," the POTUS is taken to Area 51, and is shown the recovered ship and remains from Roswell. When asked why he was told nothing of it, the fictional CIA Director tells him, "Plausible deniability, sir."
I'm certainly not suggesting the government is holding alien remains, or even that Flight 800 was shot down (I've read strong pro and con arguments). I am suggesting that career bureucrats and holdovers (i.e. George Tenet, Norm Minetta)probably don't share all the bad news or big secrets...I don't mean this simply between Clinton and Bush, but most likely between all administrations to one degree or another. I think it's naive to think otherwise.
I used to believe that there was a cover up too. I was convinced that once Clinton left office the truth would be revealed. I even know people who saw something odd that evening. However, the more I wait, the more I see, and I'm convinced that there is no cover up. A cover up would have to be massive, and we Americans are incapable of keeping our mouths shut about anything much less something this explosive (excuse me, no pun or disrespect intended). It would be impossible. If you are willing to believe this are you also willing to believe a plot to bring down the towers? Do you want to go through life sounding like Rosie O'Nutbar?

Neither you nor anyone else has ever been able to post any such "streak" or "missile" pictures. They don't exist.
Read the report of witnesses Sven Faret & Ken Wendell and see if you can figure out for yourself why the streak was descending.
I’m just passing along information - information about what a lot of people saw happen that evening.
If you have a gripe take it up with them, read that book, something very odd and heavy handed was happening in that investigation.
That's better than accepting at face value explanations that simply don't make sense...like the government trying to make you believe an aircraft made a maneuver which defies the law of gravity...or a man shot himself in a park when he didn't have a gun.
It WAS a terrorist attack and so was Egypt Air flight 990.

Having experience with aviation fuels while in the USAF,it seems very unlikely that a full fuel tank would ignite 7 explode upon climb to cruising altitude. The most dangerous conditions for fuel tank explosions are those that are partially filled or almost empty from the just right mixture of fuel, air and a source of combustion.Something does not smell right concerning the official cause of the TWA Flight 800 destruction.
I think it’s naive to think that this could have been kept secret from the next administration. From the American people, possible. From the next administration, I don’t believe so.
But remember we can't trust them, because eyewitnesses are notoriously wrong. I know this because the Clinton administration told me so. Or did they make an exception for these people?
Good point!... The 911 Commission was a completely transparent set up which Bush&co. went right along with and even only slapped the hand of a cirminal destroyer of classified documents. Why????? The Oklahoma City bombing has many unanswered questions yet the current administration continues to give cover to that sham. Why????
Is it still a conspiracy theory if there is truth to the cover up?
