I’m aware that he’s a conservative. I’m also aware he’s an isolationist and his stance on the war is idiotic, IMO. You may have a point about not insulting him but like you say he’s not fit to be CIC.
Though my first choice will be Hunter I also support Thompson. I believe either will help our country should they be the next president.

I am no longer getting the brief high speed link I had working. So the video is just to long to load. Duncan Hunter appears to be gaining ground. It will be interesting to see how things develop.
The question is - (the same as California’s McClinotock who’s a true blue American conservative and has trouble winning) - what would it take for Hunter to become more than just a wish for conservatives? His traction and ratings remind me of previous elections where qualified conservative candidates, for whatever reason, couldn’t get the momentum to win.

Your rhetoric is not supported by the facts my friend.. I am sorry you are deceived by the terrorist message.. YOUR message is exactly what the terroist would have you BELIEVE and PROMOTE... so the way I see it is you really are on THEIR side, and for that I am sorry.. Please write back when you "get it" until then.. I can't argue with someone who is blind to the truth. I pray your eyes will be opened one day my friend. Please do not send me any more of your rhetoric, I have much more productive things to do with my time. I applaud your passion, you are just wrong in my humble opinion. Please don't feel bad though, a lot of folks agree with you. I just pray that the folks that understand the TRUTH, and understand the NEED to fight terrorism are in the MAJORITY in 2008.
I have a lot of respect for Duncan Hunter & there's no doubt he'll be a better commander-in-chief than Paul. But if Hunter's nominated (and the Stanley Cup finals will be held in Hell) he's going to need to reach out to Paul's supporters, who have a strong belief in limited government & fiscal conservatism, which are Hunter's glaring weaknesses.
I'm not saying Paul will win but if he continues to get denigrated by the GOP establishment and conservative elitists, Paul will not endorse & his supporters will NOT vote for the GOP nominee, and it's possible they would vote 3rd party or write Paul's name in, which would throw the election to Hillary.
Yep, Ron Paul sucks so bad that's why he's beating all of the other GOP candidates besides Rudy/Fred/Romney in both name recognition & fundraising.

PRECISELY what this video is intended to do.. I have NO PROBLEM with — AND FULLY SUPPORT RON PAUL FOR CONGRESS -— He is very effective, and does a great job there, and will continue to be an effective ally on MANY conservative FRONTS... The purpose of this video is NOT to bash Ron Paul — but rather to let folks know where he stands -— BY HIS OWN WORDS — on the war on terror.... This is very important to consider when voting for the Commander in Chief...
