I don’t know the source of the World Banks money. National treasuries, I presume. That might be why we have a veto.

Is surrendering to terrorist your idea of victory?

You are indeed a Paul supporter.

This is the future of our nation, not a political stunt.

Who said anything about surrendering?

Remember, it was our inept and clueless government that gave the terrorists the openings they needed, in terms of visas (Visa Express), drivers licenses, inept border officials, poor communication, lackadaisical overstay prosecution, and so on, and yet you think that having American soldiers driving around a foreign country is the answer to the terrorist threat?

Ron Paul supported arming pilots in 2002 and earlier through a wave of obstructionism imposed on pilots by anti-gun Norm Mineta.

I said the responsibility for protecting passengers falls with the airline, not the government--and not the passengers. The airline's responsible for the aircraft and the passengers. If we wouldn't have been dependent on the federal government to set all the rules, which meant no guns & no resistance, then the terrorists may well have had second thoughts, because the airlines would have had the responsibility. But we assumed the government was going to take care of us. After 9/11, instead of moving toward the direction of personal responsibility & private property & 2nd amendment, we moved in the opposite direction. We turned it over to the federal government. Private industry protects their property all the time. But here is one example when the federal government was involved and they messed it up.

Of course the federal government messed it up. That's just what they do.

Maybe we’re not really serious about fighting Islamic extremism.

Somehow I don’t think a Ron Paul administration would sit idly by and let a huge chunk of our money go to a nation that supports terrorism if he had the authority to stop it.

Pakistan is seeing tremendous unrest. Don’t know if you understand this or not, but they have about 30 devices in stock ready for immediate shipping.

They are not and have never been our friends.

If a nuke is exploded over an American city, chances are it will be from Pakistan or from the Paki-funded research which has now been transferred, along with supporting technicians and equipment, to help develop the Saudi Bomb. Yes, the Saudis, whose radicals killed 2700 of us on 9/11. Their program is quite advanced, perhaps even matching Iran's. And I know we've been attacked far more by Saudi nationals in our embassies, warships, bases, and here in the states than by any Paki radicals.

In addition, it is our intervention in the region and our bribing of the Paki government which is contributing to the instability in Pakistan. Notice their dictator there quoting "Father Abraham" extensively while explaining why he imposed martial law. To make it clearer, picture President Bush declaring martial law in America while justifying it with quote from Chairman Mao. How well would Americans like it?

Some of you miss the entire cultural and political context of these things. You really think the world just loves us for some reason. Well, they don't. And they never did. That's just some corny bullcrap they spoonfed you back in junior high. They like our money (well, they used to before we made it so worthless recently). They like to trade with us and have access to our markets if we stay out of their internal affairs. But they do not want us to march in and change their country and their culture. Contrary to popular belief, these ingrates don't even enjoy being bombed or invaded or having their governments deposed.

Just as I thought, you didn’t get it.

Do a little research of the World Bank as well as internal revolutionary strategy I believe it is called, as a method of regime change and get back with me.

Things are a tick complex this day and age so take your time...

>This is the future of our nation, not a political stunt.<

Explain the future of our nation when we do have any national sovereignty left to trade away. Bush hates the fact that we have any now.

So then what do you propose?

You want out of Iraq right?

You want to retreat with in our borders and lock them down (a good idea, but not a complete solution).

So what is your plan to protect us?

The older I get, the more questions I have. I’d appreciate it if you answer them or give me links that support your beliefs.

You mean Saudi Arabia, right?

Meanwhile, cars that get double the mileage of hybrids are banned, because they burn diesel and emit more than 0.1% of what cars 20 years ago did.

I love when you Paul guys sound like you have it all figured out.

You get about 90% there and then bomb, no pun...

You just don’t understand the complexities of the 21st century. Don’t worry neither does your boy.

Yes, it may well be a Pakistani Nuke.

But it won’t be stopped by a border patrol agent.

Do you believe that the Iraqis are going to supply us with oil at below market costs after the fighting subsides?

Reagan showed us how to collapse the Soviet Union, I don’t see any similarities between the Soviet Union and Iraq.

What benefit is there to America and our citizens to even be in this war. Do you think they approached the threat the Soviets did to us? I don’t and I don’t think Ron Paul does either.

So what is your plan to protect us?

Enforce the Second Amendment, maybe? Make it so that airline pilots don't have to worry about a crazy-quilt patchwork of arbitrary gun bans as they fly across the country? Make all concealed-carry licenses issued by any state valid in all states, or better yet, do away with concealed carry licensing and defenseless-victim zones entirely? Insure that the next time a terrorist tries something, like an attack on a school, he'll be shot down quickly?

But it will be stopped by propping up the Pakistani dictator?
