The correct spelling should be Gojira. You know, like we used to spell Peking instead of the "corrected" spelling we use now, Beijing. Us wacky anglos just can't spell.

And he can't be president as he wasn't born here.  And if you change the Constitution to allow him to run then he'd probably have to face off against Ahnuld and I haven't a clue which one would win... or survive... or inflict more destruction.

Well...

I was meeting with some business leaders and they were discussing whether Ron Paul was good candidate. I said “you do know he wants to eliminate the Federal reserve?” “Nutty” was the kindest thing any of them had to say. I told them how he calls the paper dollar a fiat currency and wants a precious metals only backed dollar. After they got finished raving about this nut job would collapse the world economy many said they had already been uncomfortable with his plan to pull us out prematurely from Iraq.

So I wouldn’t say this details the problems with his positions but it summarizes the problems.

Many thanks for your reply. (Too many folks ridicule rather than answer.) I have differences with Ron Paul on a few issues, but I agree that the Federal Reserve should be slowly dismantled; along with myriad other unconstitutional federal agencies.

Speaking of being called “nutty”: years ago I attended a Dick Armey town hall meeting while I had the honor of being in his district. I told him tax reform would be to eliminate all with holding by the feds. Have the feds give each state a bill, based on the state’s percentage of congressmen (which includes Senators); let each state determine how to raise the money. No more individuals paying the feds and looking to the feds for quid-pro-quo.

Dick Armey called me “radical”. I was honored. :-)
