How nutso do you have to be to campaign to the left of John Kerry?! I'm not saying it won't work, however.

Kerry just keeps digging himself deeper in that hole with the whole Swiftboat business. Is he seriously contemplating running for president again? He could easily do away with all the mystery by signing the Standard Form 180. The fact that he won't tells me all I need to know!

P.S. I wonder if Private Scott Thomas Beauchamp helped write this article?

“Left eating the Left” alert. If this keeps up someone will need to form a pinglist!

KERRY will win. Can’t see what he offers the Senate anymore but then 25 or so senators are over the age of 70(half are gop). Time for all of them to give it up. Ain’t gonna happen.

JOHN KERRY: HUNTER, DREAMER, REALIST;
COMPLEXITY INFUSES SENATOR’S AMBITION

By Laura Blumenfeld

-SNIP-

And who is he (Kerry), really?

A close associate hints: There’s a secret compartment in Kerry’s briefcase. He carries the black attache everywhere. Asked about it on several occasions, Kerry brushed it aside. Finally, trapped in an interview, he exhaled and clicked open his case.

“Who told you?” he demanded as he reached inside. “My friends don’t know about this.”

The hat was a little mildewy. The green camouflage was fading, the seams fraying.

“My good luck hat,” Kerry said, happy to see it. “Given to me by a CIA guy as we went in for a special mission in Cambodia.”

Kerry put on the hat, pulling the brim over his forehead. His blue button-down shirt and tie clashed with the camouflage. He pointed his finger and raised his thumb, creating an imaginary gun. He looked silly, yet suddenly his campaign message was clear: Citizen-soldier. Linking patriotism to public service. It wasn’t complex after all; it was Kerry.

He smiled and aimed his finger: “Pow.”

"Besides, like a lot of the senator's tormentors, he is suspicious about whether Kerry is really against the war. Which is nuts. But, since Kerry at one pointed wanted to have it both ways, it is still a question among true believers. Like with Hillary."

Both Jon Cary and Shrillery should be branded forever with the label "Senator Flip-flop" for their weasel behavior about Iraq and the WOT. They always want to try to have it "both ways"..... pretend to sound tough, vote for the Iraq resolution, but then worm away from resolve when the left takes over the Demagogic Party. Courage would have required standing by their country's military while at war, but of course we already knew from Jon Cary how well he stands by our military.
