Obama supporters boo the Pledge of Allegiance...
The Stranger ^ | April 5, 2008 | Eli Sanders

"At the mere mention of doing the pledge there were groans and boos. Then, when the district chair put the idea of doing the Pledge of Allegiance up to a vote, it was overwhelmingly voted down. One might more accurately say the idea of pledging allegiance to the flag (of which there was only one in the room, by the way, on some delegate’s hat) was shouted down."

This should help Obama in blue-collar sections of Pennsylvania and beyond. What a putz! I still want to know if he registered for Selective Service like he was required to, by law: http://www.sss.gov

Gleefully, they would have unfurled the glorified red hammer and sickle banner from a hippy’s backpack and chanted:

“Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin led us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
and Stalin our Leader with faith in the People,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.”

Oh come on! I see Richardson in the picture. It must be New Mexico where they did those nuclear tests. Obama isn't unpatriotic; he's just shielding himself from the radiation!!

From the movie Terminal Velocity - Ditch played by Charlie Sheen and Chris played by Nastassja Kinski

Ditch: Level with me! Is this a nuclear thing? This is a nuclear thing, isn't it?
Chris: Look, you don't have to come any closer. In fact, you probably shouldn't; external genitalia are more susceptible.
Ditch: What? Susceptible to what?
Chris: Here. Cover yourself with this.
Ditch: What is this?
Chris: Use it as a testicular shield.
Ditch: Oh, come on.
Chris: Come on? ... What? I'm not joking. Cover yourself and stay here. Don't move!
----------------

- He's using some kind of shield!!! See! :)

The Obama people are pure scum.

Typical democrats.

Wish I could deport them all for insulting everything our Troops fight and die for.

This is the armpit of the Iron Curtain of Socialist Seattle. This is the 43rd Legislative District, which encompasses most of Seattle. It is this district that so heavily tilts the vote for Democrat candidates, that it affects the vote for the entire State of Washington. Because of this district we have Governor Christine Gregoire, Senator Patty Murray, and Senator Maria Cantwell. All ultra liberal Democrats.

An interesting little true fact, for all you non-Seattleites out there: the 43rd District of this loathsome liberal access of a town is the one "boasting" of a large, prominent statue of Lenin dominating one of its major traffic corners.

So: no real shock on this one, in all bald candor.

‘Strewth!

On the basis of the above, it would appear that if Obama is voted in then America has been taken by stealth by an Enemy Domestic, one that boos the Pledge of Allegiance and that will vote not to give it. What is worse is that the Enemy Domestic will have seized power by democratic vote at a time when the only viable opposition — the GOP — does not appear to be able to find its backside with both hands and a flashlite.

For those who say it’s only four years, and then there’s 2012, I’d point out that four years is a very long time during a time of war — America was only at war in WW-II for four years, by way of comparison. Lots of bad things can happen in four years. Lots of bad things.

I can’t pretend to tell Americans how to vote — I am a foreigner and it is really not for me to say — but I do hope that Conservatives can swallow hard and make sure that neither Obama nor Hillary sit in the Oval Office: anything is surely preferable to that.

It will if they ever hear about it. This is another example of what might be expected with someone named Hussein as president-the pledge and the flag will become obsolete.

You make far more sense then many so called Americans. Yet, some hold McCain to a higher standard. Hell, he served and was a POW. Yes, I do not like his poliicy on illegals. That policy will not be decided by a President as the blast faxes have worked. I damn sure fear four years of socialism.
