Damsel of Distress is the latest Peggy Noonan piece on the racial divide among the Democrats. In this case, I have to disagree with Noonan. Hillary was speaking the truth. It was just a truth that can't be spoken - at least among the chattering classes who define what is proper and what is not; what is allowed and what is not allowed.
Is it really true that truth told during an election campaign is a blunder? Is it really true that telling the truth, even when it’s told by Hillary, is racist?
If I can make a confession, at this point I feel sorry for two people who I believe are evil. Both Bill and Hillary are sociopaths. I believe Bill raped Juanita Broaddrick and has molested numberless women. I believe Hillary was willing to send people in the White House travel office to jail just so she could staff those positions with her own friends. They have both sold and abused their positions to become fabulously wealthy. But right now they are human beings and I feel sorry for them.

Peggy Noonan has been openly rooting for Hussein in her columns and tv appearances.
The question "Who will tell her, who can make her go?" is really the question "Who will save the Democratic Party in 2008?" It cannot be doubted at this point that real damage is being done to its standard-bearer and to all those who will be on the ticket with him.<>/i>
Peggy accurately diagnoses the DemonRats' problem; then she proceeds tosympathize with them. Her whole column is disgustingly pro-DemonRat. It needs a barf alert.

For starters. They do know. They've known all along. They've seen it done to Republicans and anyone who stands up to the Clintons. They cheered it on when it was being done to Republicans and conservatives.
The superdelegates know.
Jeremiah Wright knows.
The MSM knows.

I don’t see it that way at all. She has been commenting on the inevitability of Obama over Clinton, but that’s about it.
McShamesty has way too many warts, La Raza, Man made global warming, hates tax cuts, the gang of seven, etc. My only hope is the dummocrats are so destroyed that we get Congress by wide margins and get some conservatives, not RINOs.
The Democrats have been punished with Obama. And with Hillary.
Frankly, the Democrats have been punished with their ideology.
Did you watch her Meet The Press “performance” after Obama’s “Throw Granny Under the Bus” speech? It was disgusting.
If you missed it and want to see Noonan at her sycophantic worst, you might find the MTP video on iTunes podcasts.
From your comment, I can gather that she liked the speech. She’s a speechwriter. How that translates into her “openly rooting” for Obama anyone knows. I checked YouTube and couldn’t find anything.
Unfortunately, it’s been more than a month since that interview though the video is still on iTunes. Based on what I saw in that interview, I stand by my opinion that she is a definite Obama cheerleader.
BTW, I wasn’t the only person who noticed Noonan’s earnest attempts to sound like Nina Burleigh. Quite a few of us did and commented on it here.
Not speaking of you specifically, but there are a lot of people on FR who simply do not understand Ms. Noonan. It’s an interesting dynamic: “I disagreed with her opinion(s) last year on an unrelated subject, therefore she’s a shill for the topic of the day.”
I’ve read the article thanks, and I still don’t see where other posters can come up with stuff like the “whole column is disgustingly pro-DemonRat.” That’s just confirmation bias.
And you, with all of your superior wisdom, do understand her, and I'm sure, if we beg you, you will be willing to share your knowledge with the rest of us ignorant folk.
