I've long speculated that one of the reasons that Hillary Clinton is still in the race is because she wants to be running should another bombshell like the Rev. Wright scandal hit the Obama campaign. According to Hillary Clinton supporter Larry Johnson, there is another bomb out there, but it won't see the light of day until Obama is nominated:
I now have it from two three sources close to senior Republicans that they have video dynamite–Michelle Obama railing against “whitey” at Jeremiah Wright’s church. Republicans may have a lousy record when it comes to the economy and the management of the war in Iraq, but they are hell on wheels when it comes to opposition research. Someone took the chance and started reviewing the recordings from services at Jeremiah Wright’s United Church of Christ. Holy smoke!! I am told there is a clip that is being held for the fall to drop at the appropriate time. The last thing Barack and Michelle need is a new clip that raises further questions about her judgment and temperament. Would it surprise you if this was true? Not me. It would seem to fit her temperament based on some of the things she's said during the campaign.
Of course, if such a tape exists, we have to hope it's in the hands of somebody other than the McCain campaign. If he's got it, he won't use it.
I hope this is true but why would Hillary hold it back? She can’t be waiting for Obama to be nominated.
Bob Novak is reporting that it is the Hillary camp that is shopping this video around. If the pubs release the tape, it will unify the black voters against the pubs (no real change). If Hillary releases it, the black voters will stay home for the most part (ending decisively any possible chance for a dem to win the presidency).

So the Republicans found this bombshell and gave it to Hillary? I don’t buy that. Bill and Hill are masters at digging dirt. James Carville probably drug a 100 dollar bill though Trinity Church to see what turned up and bingo.
Hillary has to get it out there but it can’t look like it came from her if she wants the black vote in Nov.

Her speech in North Carolina on May 2 was bad enough. She ranted for over an hour about how tough her life is. I don’t doubt she’s capable of such a tirade as described in the article.

All day today the MSM and left blogs have been on the warpath about Hamas. The Golden Child feels he was slighted by the hated Bush and the enemy McCain, and the media acolytes will have none of it.
Jamie Rubin took point on their attack. In an article for the Washington Post titled “Hypocrisy on Hamas” and cutely subtitled “McCain Was for Talking Before He Was Against It,” Rubin contended that Senator McCain has flip-flopped his position. News outlets and bloggers have been playing his edited clip from an old interview with similar degrees of delight.
As Soren Dayton noted earlier the story is a lot of hogwash, which the editors of the Washington Post let squeak right onto the page, either with no oversight, or worse, with oversight. Obviously Senator McCain’s position remains now as it was then, no unconditional meetings with Hamas.
Well now the full video is available and Rubin’s creative editing exposed. Watch the whole thing, you know, now that you can.
The editors have failed in their job. They’ve allowed this deliberate, lying hack job onto the page and demeaned the paper. Write to them now, and demand a retraction. Public, and with lots of mea culpa goodness.

Hillary was behind the Wright media release (While Sean Hannity did break the story initially, it was Hillary who was behind the NBC broadcasts of Wright). The Wright videos were wildly popular in the ratings from there.
Hillary was also behind the Obama-Muslim photo release.
Hillary has more stuff on Obama. I am waiting for the Michelle Obama audio cassette where she shouts "White Devils," the Hussein Obama video of him kissing the Sinclair dude or perhaps a videotape of Obama kneeling at a rug inside his old Mosque.

I was a member of the media for years. I'm continually amazed at the lack of knowledge among Conservatives about how the media works.
There is no huge conspiracy. If there was a tape of Michelle Obama whupping it up, some TV network or cable operation would release it and soon it would be all over the air.

I was afraid of this. It seems to me when there’s dirt out there- the minute it’s discovered, a meeting is held to decide who or which outlet to give it to, and within a day or two- it’s public knowledge.
