I'm no fan of B-O-R, but WOW, he just skewered Benedict Mcclellan.
My opinion of Bill just went from a zero point 1, to a full 1 point on a 10 point scale.

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo.... You made McClellan squirm. Pointing out the fact that his book gave the Bush hating Left more fodder to feed on was spot on.
Problem is Scott is too dumb or too self centered to see it that way.

McClelland is two bit operator... He’s a big man on a small time basis. His book says nothing. Karl ROve, I think puts a better argument. O ‘Reilly in my opinion was not as well prepared as he should have been. He did a decent job, but he should have made he guy crack...

I just got home about the time it was on. I was actually surprised that McClellan went on O’Reilly’s show. I had thought he was just going on left wing media. O’Reilly made his points and pretty much made Mc Clellan look pathetic.
Plain and simple: McClellan is a lib! If he was a snakey used car salesman just toting his book he would have cozied up to Fox and their viewers. He has trashed President Bush for his own gain, while spinning the purpose.
McCllan is skilled at handling himself before the camera.
Sadly for him, he, rather than answer anything, repeated points he tried to make in his book. But he also claimed that the book is about the Washington being in campaign mode, which his book is not. It is a hatchet job on his former boss and others who trusted him and elevated him onto a level he could never have achieved on his own.
This pitiful ingrate could have had a respected career, now he is a pariah, a turd.

He talks about the bitterness and vitriol that Bush has supposedly caused, yet I have never heard a word if ill-will spoke from Bush towards others...even at those who’ve attacked him personally over the years (not a word from Scotty about these vicious partisans who only made his bosses job harder).
If McClellan truly believed everything he claims, he would’ve never wrote this book since it is nothing but a hatchet-job filled with inneundo and opinion; it is contrary to everything he supposedly despises...including others who’ve wrote tell-all books when they’ve left. As O’reilly noted, Scotty is either incredibly naive or deliberately deceptive; it is obviously the latter.
