Here's an interesting dilemma for Obama. Assume, as appears likely, that he will NOT choose Hillary as his running mate, then he has another tough problem on his hands. How many Clintons will get to speak at the DNC, and more importantly, in what time slots? Can he afford to allow both Hillary AND Bill ( How many times will Bubba use the word "I" in his address) prime-time exposure? And who's more important, a former President who until recently was the darling of the party faithful, or the candidate whom he narrowly beat, and has been making his life miserable ever since, because she secretly wants him to lose so she can run again in 2012?
More thoughts..anyone think that Carter is invited, or gets placed in a box next to Michael Moore? Will Gore and Kerry be asked to speak?
I don’t think he has control over who speaks.
I’m sure Hill will speak.
I see no reason Bubba has to.
They could do a “cool” skit. Now wouldn’t that be special?
The nominee controls the DNC, which controls the convention.
Two, so they get three good nights of ratings. (And don’t look for Chelsea up there before 2012 at the earliest.)
I've been thinking about Bubba a lot over the last few days.
Bubba is not well psychologically...just an opinion.
Bubba has been making a ton of money over the last couple of years, to some degree because of his anticipated future roll as First Guy.
Having him as Second Guy could lead to nothing but trouble for b. Hussein...no upside.
No reason for Bubba to speak...right...some reasons that he shouldn't...one is; who know's what he might say nowadays.
How many Kennedys?
Ted, f’sure..assuming he’s able to make an appearance..
Caroline?
