End the Oil Shale Moratorium!

Little Miss Atilla says:

It's hard not to see all the obstructionism regarding energy development as a sort of Marie Antoinette approach to fuel transitioning: we should force conservation, force biofuels, force diesel. And we should do it on the backs of the poor and the middle class.

After all, if someone can't afford a Prius: well, f*** 'em. And, by the way: those who are suffering from the dictatorships and authoritarian governments propped up by American fuel dollars? F*** them, too.

Oh, if I did not mention it, Ken Salazar is an a**hole.

If the Dolts in the House and Senate don't do their job soon, how much more will folks put up with their inaction?

This Blog denotes how pissed people are, when the answers are not right or left, just common sense....

Drill here, and now, Low Cap-Gains rates for Foward-leaning R & D with production intent for energy independent technologies, just to name two would be a start....

There should be a Republican entered in every race for a seat in the Congress, and all 33 Senate seats up this year, taking up the cry, “What happened to fuel prices? Had enough?”

Because so long as the Democrats remain in control, the situation will only get worse.

Democrats will bring down the price of gasoline all right. Think price controls and rationing. The only gasoline will be home-distilled moonshine and black market.

And you thought the period of Prohibition in the 1920’s was lawless and under the control of mobsters. The Russian mob will be more than happy to supply the black market.

I e-mailed Salazar this post. hereis his reply:

Dear Friend: Thank you for your e-mail message. Hearing from Coloradans is important to me. If you need assistance from my office or if you need help dealing with a federal agency, please use the link below to access our casework form. If you are not a Colorado resident, I encourage you to contact the U.S. Senators from your state directly.

Once again, thank you for contacting me.

I am not his friend. and, of course, like all politicians he does not care what you think if you are not his constituent.
