Obama Gives Speech on Patriotism - Doesn’t Mention Freedom
The Patriot Room ^ | July 1, 2008 | Bill Dupray

Got to hand it to him. It must have been tough to do. In a speech in which he invoked Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Adams, Truman, King, the Pledge, World War II, Vietnam, and Iraq, he does not mention America’s greatest attribute and the single-most powerful beacon to the world: American Freedom.

Now Reagan knew what patriotism was. Compare Obama to this from Reagan. More . . .

It’s funny how he invoked the Founding Fathers since they had completely opposite views of him on the role of government. And anyone who can read would know the Founding Fathers loved guns, which can’t be said for Obama.

Why would he mention freedom or liberty... he hates the 2 and wants to replace them with more government. As government expands, liberty contracts.

2nd undeniable truth about liberalism:

Liberals support no individual freedoms outside of those related to consequence-free sexual behavior decisions.

He also invokes the Bible,

when the Bible clearly refutes socialism and commands protection of private property.

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' — both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

I've seen Americans burn our flag.

I've seen Americans desecrate our national monuments.

I've seen Americans spit on our soldiers.

I've seen people protest our Christianity, blame our military recruiters, falsely accuse our heros of murder & rape, leak our military secrets, irritated at seeing too many American flags while driving our roads, rent out rooms in our White House, protest at our military funerals, and aggravated by our Pledge of Allegiance.

I've seen all of these things. Not once..not once was it a conservative or a Republican. It was always, always a liberal.

Patriotism can be measured, Obama.

I get it.

From now until Election Day, Obama will be giving speeches about things he lacks or have no basic knowledge of:
Patriotism
Education
Character
Experience
U.S. History
Religion, specifically Judeo-Christian
Military Strategy
Geopolitics
Economics
U.S. Constitution
American Exceptionalism
Rugged Individualism
The Republican Party
Can you think of other topics?

I honestly don't think Obama has a single redeeming value. I used to think he was a decent orator, then I heard him without the benefit of teleprompter and that killed that vision of him.

He is, and stands for, everything I abhor about those who would destroy America.

The only way to defeat this man is for people to stand up say, loud and clear, THIS is what America is and any similarity to the America envisioned by Obama, and his entire pitiful Party, is purely coincidental.

Somehow this election has to be made a nationwide vote on where America is going and what kind of nation America will be on the world stage. The stakes have to be presented in such a way that anyone who casts a vote knows they are voting between the America that brought us our prosperity and an America that will be like a European nation.

The risk is great, but the stakes are greater. We are at an even more critical fork in the road than we were with Bush vs. Clinton. We saw what eight years of the Clintons brought us. Obama will be worse, much worse.
