Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

As everyone recalls due to the Oriental Exclusion Acts Japanese could immigrate into the US but could never own land (in California and other states where the law restricted land ownership) or become citizens.

Their children born here were, however, citizens.

After WWII the law was changed regarding Japanese immigration and all the Oriental Exclusion Acts were repealed.

Little old ladies who'd been in the US since they were teenagers were then allowed by the revisions of the Walter-McCarren Act to apply for citizenship and did so.

The new laws didn't just apply to Japanese who'd not yet immigrated ~ they applied to everyone.

If Obama’s own Fight the Smears website has posted a FORGED certificate of live birth, which it appears it has, how in the hell do you know where Obama was born? Answer, you do not. No one here knows for sure. Only his mother and some relatives do. You are not one of the them. This is a scandal that is not going away but only going to expand because Obama is allowing it to grow. Even if he comes out with a real one know, he knowingly allowed a FORGED certificate of live birth, a crime, to be posted on his own site. He and his campaign has stepped it in in a major way.

He did no such thing. He was talking about McCain. Please read the thread and judge for yourself. Also, please read more than the headline before commenting. The guy DID NOT ADMIT TO FORGING THE OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! All he did is what I did in post#379. Yes, I remember Eagleton, it was a fiasco. Don’t you think that the dems learned from that? Obama is dangerous and will probably ruin our country if he’s elected president, but he is a U.S. citizen who is eligible for the presidency.

Wrong. It is not enough to be a US citizen. You must be a natural born US citizen. If you are born overseas of ONE US citizen parent, you are automatically eligible for a green card and a path to citizenship, BUT YOU ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY a citizen, and you are not a natural-born citizen.

I have friends who were born overseas of a US citizen mother and a Canadian citizen father. They had to file naturalization papers (easy, yes, automatic, no) when they came of age.
