Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

My head is ready to explode...and my question is:

Who amongst the intelligent and clearly sharp-eyed people who have caught these people in a HUGE, important-for-our-country lie and cover-up are willing to take the next step and go to court with these important findings? How much more evidence will be needed to get an indictment against this fraud and his minions.

I am ready to see heads roll. I hope “we” conservatives won’t just talk endlessly about all this evidence-collecting and never act upon it. Am I being terribly premature?

If the number were not blacked out, all Obama would have to do is instruct anyone who was in doubt as to which one was real to send a copy of his (including the certificate number) to the state of Hawaii along with $5, and Hawaii would send back confirmation staying that it was real ...

No that is lame, because if there was a number, ANYONE could request a Letter Of Verification for all the information on the certificate.

The Hawaii State Department of Health website does not say anything about requiring a certificate number in order to obtain a Letter of Verification. It only says to provide it "if known". All you have to do is provide any of the other information from the birth certificate and they will verify it.

So apparently anyone with $5 could verify whether Barack Hussein Obama II was born on a given day in Hawaii without needing a certificate number.

I think the headline of this thread is quite misleading since the “OpenDNA” Mackinnin dude does not cop to anything like the first of these “Obama BCs” — it seems to me that all that OpenDNA says is that yes, he showed how easy it is to do a couple of the manipulations under discussion.

To conclude:

In the beginning, there was Dr X. Dr X. took a certified COLB, that DID NOT BELONG TO OBAMA, scanned it, and then proceeded to Photoshop out two of the three folds, and all of the field headers and data, using pieces of the background and the HEALING tool to blend them in — that is why the Kos seal is so faint.

Then, with a blank canvas on which to paint his “masterpiece of fakery,” freshly typed in the filed names and the MODIFIED data fields to make it look like a COLB from BHO.

Dr X then gave it up to the Kos , who then proceeded to proudly display it on its web page.

Meanwhile, back at the Obama ranch, news of the posted image hit the Obamanites like a bombshell, and they proceeded to copy the newly-minted image, while making plans to post it on their “Fight the Smears” site.

BEFORE they could do that, the authenticity of the Kos image was challenged by OpenDNA, and in a move they have regretted, challenged OpenDNA to produce a faked COLB.

He doubled their dismay by producing two from their original image: one totally blank, except for the field and date for the island of birth and time of birth — both simply left there by OpenDNA as he proceeded to blot out the rest of the fields and data. In his second rendition, he entered that weird name for the child field.

The “Smears shmucks” were caught, flatfooted. They quickly slammed down their direct copy of the Kos image, and claimed, “Here is his birth certificate,” after weakly countering the argument that BHO was not born in the USA .

Realizing the dumb move of posting a really good copy of the fake that was open to inspection, the Smears shmucks pulled it down and replaced it with one almost half its size.

They also removed the “Here is his birth certificate,” claim! So, instead of seeing an image tied to a counterargument verified by the COLB, we just have a totally different argument, followed by an orphaned image.

There are doubts in my mind about this entire episode. I have followed it from the beginning. I have mostly refrained from posting because of the possibility of lots of fraud in all the wrong places.

The very fact that Obama hasn’t put this to rest causes some suspicion among Freepers that there might be something funny about his original birth certificate.

I do think we could just as easily be suspicious of the motives of the Kos gang and BHO’s rumor-stopping website... perhaps trying to set up a “sting” operation.

In light of what I posted above from the Texasdarlin website, I suspect that the whole BC fuss caught the Obama camp off-guard. Once their own "FightTheSmears" webmaster picked up the faked BC from DailyKos (seems too stupid a thing to do, but apparently that's what they did), then they froze and have not been able to decide what to do next. However, at this point they are playing wait-and-see, allowing right-bloggers and posters to speculate and go wild. The Obamanators now are actually hoping it moves up the media food chain enough that they can suddenly produce the real BC, attack and humiliate anyone who bought into believing that "Obama is ineligible" etc., and use the whole episode to try to discredit all questions about his background in advance.

Polarik:Making an image of higher resolution -- like what the Kos image happens to be, namely, 300 DPI, is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE with web graphics; i.e., they look WORSE WHEN ENLARGED.

Polarik starts out saying that the resoloution of an electronic image is based on dots per inch.

However, resolution of an image is simply the number of pixels that it contains.

Should I read past that error?

Let’s say- for the sake of arguement- that someones(s) at Daily Kos decided to do this as a set up. That assumes the birth certificate at Obama’s and Kos site is NOT legitimate right? Otherwise- why the set-up?

Sooooooo..for a cheap political trick- a presidential candidate allows fake docs to be placed on his official website and to stay there for over two weeks? So that he can at some later date, whip out the REAL one and say,nanny-nanny-boo-boo? Wouldn’t that candidate be at least dealing in entrapment?

By and large- it seems to me the best technical research has been done by Polarik. When read slowly and carefully, it’s compelling reading and it’s very hard to walk away and still believe these are official documents.

I haven’t even begun to honestly speculate as to WHY we would be presented with a false document- except privately- because there are too many things we don’t know.

why not scan and post the back side of the document, why do "artifacts" of an embossment and signature block appear, when the real things should be plainly evident (were they cleaned from the source document?).

If they know that the documents are real, then they know that we will just look stupid when they prove it. Why not let us hang ourselves?

I don't particularly want to get into the Kenya Birth registration argument at this point because the information is going to come out in the next week or so and then we will all know.

However Kenya was British East Africa, staffed by well-meaning Brits who were attempting to show the colonials how to run a proper government and the Brits ran an organized system.

The documentation is likely to be more complete than you suggest. What it does show we will know when it appears.

Think this over, Ernest, a Birth Certificate is an innocuous document. It provides no sensitive information; its just the birth record, parents and place of birth. If there's anything damaging in it, it could be that the Father was noted as 'Unknown'. That's if one exists at all.

We've seen the fraudulent document, we'd like to see an authenticated copy but for reasons known only to Obama and his campaign our challenge of his legitimacy to be a candidate for the presidency is ignored.

I went to the UH at Manoa and lived in Honolulu for 10 years. I know of Mrs. Dunham at the Bank of Hawaii but nothing of Barry or his time at Punahou. Neither do friends of mine who attended Punahou at about the same time. Not to say he didn't attend but he wasn't a standout student or campus personality. He had the benefit of wealthy grandparents who nurtured his education as well as provided sustenance.

Obama wrote his own history, published it prior to his run for office and uses it as a substitute for verifiable credentials and documentation. Well....Hell's Bells, anyone can do the same. Critics and editors should have examined his manuscript closely before deeming it Autobiography or Non Fiction. Now with fraudulent certificate (presented by surrogates) a closer examination is necessary and long overdue.

In this case we are talking about a law that sets standards for being found to have already been a US citizen. Pretty obvious that whether you're a newborn or 89 years of age, if you meet the standards you get the benefit (that is, the recognition of citizenship).

It's not an error, though many people now have a misunderstanding of the term "resolution" based on computer display marketing. When you use a given screen size, then you can use pixel dimensions as a proxy for "resolution," in a general comparative sense (though such things as dot size aren't included).

Actually Phil, there is another, HIGHLY SIGNIFICANT, point in that article that is being overlooked from you post.

There is a reference in your article linked at your post from a standard report that affirms Obama's family is the controlling tribe of East Africa: Kenya, Somalia, the Ogaden sector of Ethiopia and Tanzania. Tanzania being the most significant.

Daniel Pearl last article that was published was about the underground gem trade coming out of Tanzania that funded Al Qaeda. The underground routes were controlled by Militant Muslims. Obama's family is the controlling tribe, Luo.

One of the routes goes right to Iran, as well as Dubai. Iran owns a number of companies that handle the Tanzanite trade.

Being Moslem is not a "race" sort of thing. I wish you'd get it out of your head that all Moslems have deep tans. I have a bunch of neighbors from Afghanistan and they have blue eyes and light skin. Some of their kids are natural blonds.

Here the Catholics have Asian eyes or darker skins ~ they're all from SE Asia in fact. Trying real hard to think of a traditional European type who is a Catholic but I think the last of their kind moved away 20 years ago.

Biggest problem in the local public school has always been the blue-eyed blonds from Afghanistan who will lie about the time of day unless you tell them first "unless you are truthful it will bring shame on your father".
