As we celebrate Independence Day, perhaps it's fitting that Sen. Barack Obama brought up the subject of patriotism. It is, after all, the last refuge of a scoundrel. And it is precisely for that purpose Obama raised it.
You see, he doesn't want it discussed, as for him it's a losing issue – from the racist pastor who screamed “God Damn America” from the pulpit to the wife who was ashamed of America until part of it nominated her husband for president. (The egomania inherent in which is equally disturbing.)
Obama has much to explain and no good answers have been forthcoming. So why shouldn't he try to get the liability neutralized? Hence his speech last Monday, which in typical Obama fashion used a lot of good-sounding words with little substance as a way to cover up and lure the listener away from the real issue. I have no doubt that obami is a “patriot” but his patriotism is for Islam.
Obama is is a perfect example of a third world dictator. His mentality is exactly the same. He would be perfect for africa.

As one of those who expects to be hanging from a lamppost if Obama is elected, I say that he is not a patriot, has never been a patriot and will never be a patriot. His only loyalty is to power.
Obama is the lamest, most inconsistent, waffling patriot I’ve ever seen run for President! He should be disqualified for lack of patriotism alone!
Obama didn’t wear a flag pin until recently when he was criticized for it, won’t put his hand over his heart when saying the Pledge of Allegiance, and took his oath of office on the Koran, those are all good reasons to question his patriotism.
Did anyone hear if he displayed the American flag at his home over the Fourth of July? If he didn’t fly at least one flag, it would be more evidence that he lacks patriotism.

Barack was not sworn in using a Koran. It was Representative Keith Ellison from Minnesota that took the oath on a Koran.
Please enlighten me.....what has Obama ever done that would make him a patriot? I’m sorry but being a US Senator/politician or running for President doesn’t make one a patriot.
Where I come from, true patriots don’t have to make speeches to convince people they are patriots.
Osama really thinks that he is chittn in tall cotton, and that he has everyone fooled.
Not trying to defend that POS, but that picture you’re describing was not during the P of A, but, rather, the National Anthem, where placing one’s hand over the heart is optional. Still despicable, though.
