Yesterday was not a good day to get in my face. Nonetheless, Mr. Lee, our neighbor from the adjoining cul-de-sac and several houses south of us, picked the evening of Tuesday, July 8th as the optimum time (for him, evidently) to inform me that he intends to put out a contract on Tobies cat, Tiger. I think Mr. Lees learning curve is steep enough that he will not be ringing my doorbell again any time soon.
See, I spent the entire day in the emergency room with my little brother, his wife and his 7 year old daughter. When little sib called me at 8:30 in the morning to tell me his daughter had awakened with a seizure, I told him to meet me at the ER of the best hospital in town (and the only one with a pediatric neurologist). When he told me his wife wanted to wait until they could see their pediatrician in his office, being the passive big sis that I am, I drove to his house, loaded them up in my van, and drove to the ER. I think even my sister-in-law could see from my countenance that I would brook no argument.

I’m NOT that “Mr. Lee”!
Mr. Lee is an idiot. If he really plans to kill the cat, the last thing he wanted to do was advertise this fact. Now, no matter what happens to the cat, HE is gonna get blamed.
