You remember Tricia Walsh-Smith--according to the AP, she vilified husband Philip Smith in a "furious YouTube video, which has attracted more than 3 million hits. She makes embarrassing claims about their intimate life and then calls his office to repeat those claims to a stunned assistant.
"On the video, Walsh-Smith also goes through their wedding album, describing family members as 'bad,' 'evil' or 'nasty,' and expresses concern about eviction from the couple's luxury apartment."
Her routine was so over-the-top that the judge actually sided with the husband, criticizing Walsh-Smith for "a calculated and callous campaign to embarrass and humiliate her husband" in order to extort more money out of him than was in the prenup.
They were married in 1999 and, luckily for Smith, they had no children. If they had, I'm sure by now Smith would be a "child molester," a "wife-beater," and a bunch of other things.

Although a case can (and is) made that young women are attracted to older men based on other things than money, I've never, ever, witnessed a younger woman being attracted to an older man that didn't have money.
Unfortunately, I find that it’s generally a true statement in my case to say, “Never trust a pretty woman, especially if she’s interested in you.”

Money is certainly part of it — but why not? Money equals security, safety and the best opportunity for offspring.
They used to say, “He’s a good provider” in order to put a warmer face on it.
That’s not entirely true, since most men are not of significant wealth. Money and power are attractive to a woman, sure, but there aren’t enough wealthy men to go around to make your statement true.
Women also appreciate and admire good looking women with great bodies. Men aren’t similarly impressed with handsome, well built men though.
Women are also much harder on very good looking women than men are, imputing all sorts of moral failings (golddigger, stupid, slut, etc) to them, which isn’t very well founded.

That's not a good viewpoint - you can't be so superficial to hold a woman's good looks against her. Sure, many women use their looks to get things out of a man. I fight that by just not being responsive, unless I am already having sex with the woman regularly. Otherwise, she is on her own.

When I was a senior in high school, my friends stepmom was 19. I thought she was pretty hot for an older woman. ;) They lived in a tiny, unkempt dump of a house.
An older man should never marry a woman that is as young as his children or younger. One reason is that it is a “father figure” sort of thing. And as her “father figure”, once you have sex with her, the relationship doesn’t work to her, on a psychological level.
When I was “cast out” myself at 43, a couple of “twenty somethings” stepped up to bat. But I just could not relate to them. No shared cultural experiences; they saw me as a sort of “wise sage” and there wasn’t the sort of “equality” that I would look for in such a relationship. They were older than my children, but not by much.
My wife now is six days younger than me (we’re both 54) and I am celebrating the beginning of the 11th year of our honeymoon. The last ten years have been the happiest of my life, even with the financial strains brought on by the costs associated with the dissolution of a previous life.
Young women are for young guys. They can have them.
Oh, a second reason a man should stay away from younger women is that, assuming a 20 year age difference, at 40 he can keep up with her physically. At 50 as well. At 60 he will definitely be slowing down, no matter how “fit” he is. And if he is fit, she probably is too, but she is only 40, which is almost 30, while 60 is almost 70.
And then he turns 70...
