Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to "The War Zone". I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plan[sic] and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief.

I don’t doubt a soldier wrote this, but if it starts to spread with fasehoods, it will be relegated to internet urban legend.

I do not believe this email. It is a set up if I have ever seen one. Like the fake birth certificate.
Until someone actually names and shows some truth to this story, I do not believe it.
MSM will say that it is a vast right wing conspiracy and blow it off and give Barry a pass.
The way I read that is a coworker knows a soldier in Iraq who forwarded the email. The first sentence identifies the writer as being in Afghanistan:

But “Fake but Accurate” is a Dan Rather - CBS trick. Not to be used by conservatives.

Finally: I will say this one thing in defense of the anonymous solder who wrote it. As we all know our soldiers must remain neutral in their opinions on things political. I would not expect a soldier would or could go public with this e-mail.

You know, I agree there are many falsehoods on the internet.
Where are the truths about John Edwards not in the MSM? Where is the outrage about the special deals libs got on loans? Where are the questions about Harry Reids land deals? Why hasn’t the gas outrage in Denver been on Fox news about RAT usage of city gas pumps in Denver? Why, why, why?
Why are libs never accountable? Does any jerk in the GOP have any balls, or are they in on it?
So when he comes to your town, SNUB the SNOB.
However, if fake e-mails are flying around this only hurts the anti-Obama forces. Frankly, I doubt any fake anti-Obama e-mails are really necessary because most liberals are very uncomfortable with the military, to be polite about it.
That any such fake document is even used to defame Obama is dumb as well as unproductive. Stick with the grim reality of who Obama really is and what he stands for. That's more than enough. Fake e-mails from non-existent soldiers isn't necessary or effective. Let's deal with reality.

Same here. I believe about 25% of the bad stuff about Obama same as I do against any conservative. Semineer internet posters out there are playing games on both sides of the aisle.
He who shall not be named also blew off the troops in Germany. Too busy, had to get to the gym, you know.
Mister Obama's operatives would like nothing better than to set FR up for a sucker punch.
That said, I'm of the opinion that Marxist Obama viscerally hates our Military, and our wonderful men and women who wear the uniform.
It is not lost on our Military folks that Marxist Obama said on July 2..."We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set... We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded."
Similarly, it will not be lost on our troops that in his current visit to Germany, Marxist Obama has just canceled a previously-planned stop to visit thousands of American troops stationed in Germany, including those wounded in action receiving treatment at Landstuh.
Yeah, well when he becomes President he’ll show you thanks - by putting you on trial in international courts for “war crimes”.
So just shut your mouth and keep voting Democrat. :D

This email is bunk.
There are plenty of good policy-based reasons to vote against Obama. If we spend more time on them and less time hyperventilating about his birth certificate or whether he spent enough time shaking hands, we’re more likely to defeat him come November.
