More Obama B.S.? Was The Crowd in Berlin 200,000 or Just 20,000?
The Patriot Room ^ | July 25, 2008 | Bill Dupray

Fifteen minutes before Obama took the stage, German reporters estimated 20,000. Twenty minutes later, someone else, from the same news outlet, said 100,000. The figure of 200,000 came from Obama's people, and the American press went with that.

Compare photos of the Berlin rally with the photos of a rally in Portland, Oregon that drew 75,000. They look pretty close to me.

There was a free rock concert with two bands, along with free beer and free food. There should have been 500,000 people there.

From the picture I saw I estimated the crowd to be between 20 to 25 thousand. 200,000 = BS.

I just did a head count of all the pics provided from the Berlin event and it totaled 27,754.

I may have counted some of the same people twice if they were in multiple pics, but I took extreme care in cataloging each person in the photos by age, gender, clothing and any other unique or distinguishing characteristics so as to keep that possibility to a minimum.

I'm pretty confident in my #.

Whatever happened to the one million number that they were tossing around before the rally? That got dropped to 200,000 pretty quickly.

Let me guess, you counted their arms and feet and divided by four?

I was trying to remember how many people came to hear Bush speak when he visited Europe, but I couldn’t remember whether he ever gave a speech to the general public over there. Maybe these people showed up just because of the novelty of hearing an American politician.

I estimate the crowd to be german and therefore highly manipulatable; and besides irrelevant to the American election.

No, he counted their toes and divided by 10 - makes the math easier...

I say, “Who cares?” Let Obambi be seen as the choice that the Euroweenies would impose upon us.

200,000 at the rally?

Where were the rest of the 82,369,548?

Headline?

Typical white people skipped speech
Obama disappointed at turnout for speech
Surprised that racism not limited to just the U.S.

Are you sure, because I only counted 27,751. But then again, I didn’t cataloge them as well as you did, I only counted the beer cups!

I thought they were expecting a million people there? At least that’s what I read a couple days ago...

What the heck, it's the new Obama math of hope.

50 states = 57 states.

8 years as President = 10 years.

20,000 adoring losers = 200,000 adoring losers. Under President messiah using Obama math unemployment will be zero, inflation will be zero and our GDP growth will be 25% every quarter.

WOW! You must have a lot of spare time - or you’re the fastest counter I’ve ever heard of.

The numbers are low because racist white people did the counting, and they count blacks as three fifths of a person.

I live in a small town of 20,00 people, and we had over 4000 show up for an Easter service in one of the permanent structures on the state fair grounds here. I’m sure Berlin is a just a *little* bigger than my town, and the Messiah could only get such a small % of the population to turn out? Even with a concert?
