Both Michelle and Obama are militant, anti-American maxists. They are radicals, trained in the Saul Alinsky mold...and firm believers in it.

The world as it is, with American being the becon of hope to the world with the strongest founding princples and moral values, the freest, most propserous, most powerful, greatest force for good Republic the world has ever known is something they want to change.

The world as it should be, according to them, would see America toppled, her liberty, her prosperity, her impact for good, and her power crippled and replaced by a MArxistic society engrafted into an internaional order of their own making.

THE AUDACITY OF TRUTH ABOUT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

No doubt, just enough ‘code words’ so her ‘audience’ would be happy. Calmed the rioters, protesters, arsonists, anarchists just enough! Signalling they could all go home and wait for the Repub convention....no Recreate ‘68 after all!

BO and MO are scary.

I’ll never forget LBJ saying he was going to take from the Haves and give to the Have nots in one of his speeches.

His Great Society thing was a disaster, can you imagin what these two have in store should he be elected?

Why didn’t se just waved the Little Red Book?

Oh, sorry. They are towing the Marxist-Leninist line.

And, “All of us driven by a simple belief that the world as it is just won’t do – that we have an obligation to fight for the world as it should be.”

Definitely one of the prime symptoms of elitism: presumptuousness, know-it-allism, they’re aren’t trying to sell ideas, or convince us of their point-of-view. They already know, on a monumental scale, just how the world should be. No input from you wanted or needed.

“The world as it is” and “The world as it should be..."

sound a lot to me like "The world you ignorant people have made" versus "the world we Harvard Experts will make since know better..."

She looked like a robot up there trying carefully to conceal her normally angry delivery. not to meantion when she said I love America, it was almost like she had to gulp before saying so as if to push down the marxist venom that would otherwise have birthed itself from her oral cavity.

“Michelle Obama said something that peeked my curiousity.”

With all due respect, Suh; the word is PICQUED. It’s a frenchy French word that loosely translated connotates something akin to being pricked in the butt with a straightpin.

Michelle Obama said something that picqued my curiosity.

There! That’s better.

ALINSKY’s RULES FOR RADICALS
“Personalize it”

Saul Alinsky’s rules of power tactics, excerpted from his 1971 book “Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals”

1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.

2. Never go outside the experience of your people.

3. Whenever possible go outside the experience of the enemy.

4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.

5. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.

7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.

8. Keep the pressure on.

9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

10. Maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.

12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be.

Note that Alinsky is using some of the same words, but what he is saying is that, in his political calculus, the end justifies the means (lying, stealing, violence). Michelle was saying that one should be idealistic ("the world as it should be" is a good thing to believe in), so her meaning was very different from Alinsky, for whom "the world as it should be" is a foolish thing to believe in. That doesn't mean she didn't copy the words though.
