It's scary how quickly people want to throw rights away for others and assume that giving government that power will never come back and bite them in an uncomfortable place.

The better approach is to keep exerting pressure on Muslim countries to allow more religious tolerance. What you are proposing is that we go in the opposite direction and become more like Saudi Arabia. No thanks.

Santeria was severely limited because of killing animals. I would think Islam could be limited for killing humans.
In many ways it is worse here. Europe is cracking down on everything from dress to mosques. Muslims are freer in the US than Europe.

In the same way that the Geneva Convention is a reciprocal document, we need to adopt Reciprocity as a policy in dealing with Islam.
The outrageous teachings taking place within Islamic institutions in this country should be halted, with those institutions shut down until there is complete reciprocity of freedom of conscience and religion within the Islamic world.
We didn’t allow Communists entry during the Cold War at least not knowingly.
We should do the same with the Muslims who are flooding this country. Just recently 5 Iraqi Muslim families came into this area. An average of 7 children each.
I say round them all up and send them back where they came from.
Muslims are getting what they deserve, for constantly pushing Islam on non-Muslims. If they do not like it, they can move to an Islamic country.
I agree, it is just foolish to allow Muslims to come here at all.
As for such a ban in the United States, it could never be legislated as per the first amendment.
I don't know about that, IIRC, for a long time communism was codified as illegal because it openly called for the violent overthrow of the Republic. In as much as it's a central tenet of Islam, I'd say that with enough support it would be viewed as similar.
'Course, there'd be a lot of bitchin' and whinin' from one end of the political spectrum...
