download the iso and burn it to cd, then install The GIMP, and you'll at least have the computer-equivilent of fine-point markers. The GIMP is an open-source free alternative to Photoshop. Not quite as capable, but free is very good. There's a lot of other stuff there, too, and it's all easy to access and use.

I have never bought software on E-bay, but if you can get a hold of PaintShopPro9 that is the program I use. It’s great, but they don’t make it anymore due to the company being taken over by Adobe. I’m using it on Vista, so there’s no problem with that. Just thought you might want to know. My daughters use to use Gimp and I’ve never heard anything bad about it at all.

I was just reading some of the idiot posts on DU... they sure are getting desperate... is this the best “dirt” they can come up with against Sarah Palin? -— LOL

As fundamentalists, having an illegitimate child is unconscionable, especially for a public figure. So, as soon as they found out their teenage daughter was pregnant, they contrived the story that it was Sarah Palin, not her daughter, and started the coverup:
- Already knowing that she was going to have a baby with Down Syndrome, would she really risk a 13-hour trip on several airplanes, considering the negative effect it could have had on the health of the baby? (just an aside, does this show “good judgement”?)
- They took the daughter out of school 6-8 months earlier, until after the birth. She may have had mononucleosis, but that lasts a month or two, not 6 or 8!
- The truth is that she had to “give birth” in Alaska, because that was where her daughter was. How would they explain how “her” baby was born in Alaska while she was in Texas?
- They also waited months until they announced that Sarah was pregnant, forstalling the obvious questions and scrutiny (i.e., “why don’t you look pregnant?”, etc.) until shortly before the baby was to be born. It’s already been reported that no one around her ever noticed that she looked “pregnant” anyway.
- Notice that in all official photographs beginning in March she wore a ski jacket, even indoors!! That covered up the fact that she was NOT pregnant.
- There is a family picture from April (wish I knew how to post photographs) where the daughter has an obvious bulge (NOT the type of belly a teenager would already have if not pregnant), the other two daughters are wearing SHORT SLEEVE shirts but Sarah is wearing a heavy sweater or jacket and standing partly behind one of the daughters.
- Finally, a pregnant woman’s face and hands get a little pudgy during late stages of pregnancy. The appearance of her face just a month before the birth is identical to recent photographs, just 2-3 months later.
It just doesn’t add up - they are lying to cover up their failing (in the eyes of rightwing conservatives, anyway) as parents and the perceived shortcomings of them and their daughter.
Remember, NONE of this happened with the thought that she would ever be running for president. If she was only going to be governor of a state of 700,000 people, this would never have come under the scrutiny that it has today.
