Among the great things about Palin is her upper-midwest sounding accent when the battle for the election is MN, WI, MI and PA. She sound exactly like she is from there particularly the first three states. I don’t know how many voters that will move, but it can not hurt.

Palin's voice is just plain horrible. FINALLY! Some substance to our political discourse.

Reagan's condescending tone drove me nuts. Well you better up your meds, cause you're going to be hearing Sarah Palin's voice on a regular basis for the next TWELVE years!

Oh, and Rod Decker, a local newsman has the worst voice on the planet. Take that, Rod Decker, whoever the hell you are.

I ALWAYS think of the guy on Alf! Sounds just like him! Oh, PJ, this is Kewpie doll for sure! The first time I heard Joe Lieberman I thought about that guy from Alf.

I think it was swept after a while. I have to say that even some of the Kos Kids found it crass. Good for them.

BTW, Marge Gunderson is a very sympathetic character and people loved and imitated McDormand's Dakotas accent. Marge Gunderson in Fargowas a normal, no-nonsense, all-common sense policewoman, wife, and expectant mom. She was smart, efficient and fearless. She was unfailingly polite to idiots, criminals and lechers - but uncompromising - with a strong sense of professional ethics and an ironclad personal conscience in matters of right and wrong. She doggedly accomplished the task she set herself - a task that was above and beyond the call of duty. And she still treated the monster she apprehended as a human being. You Betcha...

I already call Palin "Marge Gunderson." They should be careful what they say. Frances McDormand won the Oscar for that performance.

I pronounce the word drawer as “draw.” My cousins in the Philadelphia like to drink “werter.” Most normal people have something of a regional accent, even if they come from a cookie cutter generic hell like Irvine. ;-)

True, but it’s fun to watch a site where they can recite every instance of U.S. “imperialism” going back to the Phillipines in 1898 prattling on cluelessly without knowing about 1976-1980.

I just realized the heavy-handed editing by ABC of the Gibson interview has a silver lining- when the debates come, Palin is gonna WIPE THE FLOOR with Biden and the nutroots won’t know what hit them.. HA! HA!

And don't worry. The Joe Biden material is still out there. But why the hurry? Better to let him stay on the ticket until it is impossible to take him off. Remember, it is almost impossible to change the names on the 50 state ballots after they have been printed up. You MUST SHARE this information.
