Anybody notice the liberal MSM blackout on Sarah Palin?

Posted on 09/20/2008 8:46:55 PM PDT by Sun

I see McCain, I see Obama, I see Biden, but no Sarah.

Sarah is who most of us want to see, so where is she?

Last week C-BS showed McCain, Obama and Biden within minutes, but no Sarah.

Oprah won't invite Sarah on her show.

Why won't they show the charismatic Sarah campaigning among the cheering crowds, as they did with Obama?

Are they afraid?

Sarah is a rock star, and they showed plenty of Obama when he USED to be a rock star, so where's Sarah?

Definitely not the AP that reported NoBama’s speech in Jacksonville Florida today (Sea of people, rapturous welcome blah blah..)
Lets see what they report about Palin’s rally tomorrow at the Villages where there should be at least the same number if not more than NoBama’s crowd today.

There loss.. Sarah Palin is their biggest draw now. I am not watching the News tonight, seems all they want to do on all the news channels is talk about how White Democrats are not voting for Obama because he is black. Like that is going to make them vote for Obama. (rolls eyes)

Good observation. Two thoughts.

a) The meltdown of the financial system deservedly went front page this past week. Palin mania took back seat.

b) Obama and team finally figured out that they need to shut up and completely ignore Palin. And their buddies in the mainstream media by and large got the clue from team Obama to ignore her as well.

All you have to do is run a news check on Obama on either Yahoo or Google, and all the articles are about how Obama is losing Democrats and Union Members because he is black.

They do not get that most are not voting for Obama because his name is funny sounding, he can not get away from it “BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA” and he has no experience, is way too far to the left, and likes to abort babies, and attends a racist church, has friends in jail.. Rezko, and i could go on an on

Out of the blue, I got an email from a leftist guy I used to work with several YEARS ago. The email contained a series of pictures from the anti-Palin rally in Alaska.

Now, this is VERY blue Illinois. So, what's up with this? Is this communist following orders and 'getting in my face'? Strange, very strange.

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/the_drumbeat.html

The drumbeat. It’s always there. Day and night. Rain or shine. Winter or Summer. Sunday or Monday. It comes at you from every direction. It comes over the TV, the radio, at work, at school, in music, in the newspapers, from the politicians, in conversation with others, even in church. It wears you down. It robs you of the will to resist its message. Even short-lived victories, which stop it briefly, leave you with the knowledge that it will return; each minor victory bound to be lost to the redoubled efforts of this patient and persistent force. You can’t escape it. It never stops. It never gives up. It never ends. It rains upon you from every possible angle, from every possible source.

It’s the drumbeat of the left. It is political, philosophical, theological, and social. It pervades every activity. It is post-structural, post-modern, post-everything in the parlance of the day.

It was announced. I forget the title of the post but some liberal media gal announced they were about to “move on.” I think she said something like Palin’s excitement was now dead or something and that the media had grown bored and were about to move along. This is their solution to Palin... turn out the lights. Attacking her didn’t work, ignoring her is all they have left.

This is a good thing. My biggest fear following Palin's introduction and big splash was that she would get overexposed and burn out just in time for the election. Look what's happened to B. Hussein Obama - - man, has the polish ever worn off of that turd! Have you heard him lately? He's burned out and reduced to flailing like he knows he's gonna lose.

“This is a good thing.”

I don’t think it is, because some folks will vote for the candidate(s) they see the most, and LMSM knows that.

I think the reason that Obama fizzled out is because Sarah came along, and she’s more charismatic and far more intelligent.

In their hearts, and down where they live on the left, they don’t care at all about what’s good and clean and decent and honest and fair and right. At the core, they care about evil and its proliferation. Sarah threatens that, so...

re: email bulletin about anti-Palin rally in Anchorage...

HA! I got pretty much the same (or a similar) email "out of the blue" from a lib acquaintance in NYC with whom I have virtually never discussed politics (she knows I support the Palin/McCain ticket (sic) but we avoid detailed discussions). This might be the new "in-your-face" propaganda wave from the Obamanation.

The lib-spam I received regarding the great anti-Palin rally (/sarcasm) had 25 photos mostly of 2-5 Moonbats at a time, and claimed that it was "the biggest rally in AK history" -- a claim which may be immediately discounted since the organizers claimed 1400 libtards (certainly less than the number of Palin supporters who rallied at the Fairbanks airport to welcome her back to Alaska recently), and which was probably much exaggerated (from the open spaces around most of the anti-Palin demonstrators in the photos I received, it was difficult to believe that they had more than a few hundred at most).

It seems that a new lib talking point is that Governor Palin is being rejected in her own state of Alaska, merely because a few hundred, or at most 1400, raving Moonbats held a rally. Big F-in Deal.

The email circular I received had this title:

"Fw: Pics of Biggest Rally in AK history... anti-Palin printed below the rally description - Alaska in play?"

[if they're dreaming that Alaska is "in play" they are definitely delusional......]

MSM is making a calculated move to ignore Palin. It’s a lost cause for them. For one thing, they keep her name in the news with their bogus scandle reporting. Egads, their still trying to make something of so-called “troopergate”.

Big problem for MSM is that are forced to cover Palin stump speeches—especially when she’s appearing with McCain. Another problem will be the buzz that is generated from upcoming Palin/Biden(or Hillery) debate. I don’t think the MSM will be able to constrain itself from talking how Biden will “handle” her.

So, Gov. Palin will still be getting plenty of exposure despite MSM’s attempt to bury her. It’s so cool watching both the dem party and MSM try to find an antidote to their Palin Pathology.

They can’t ignore the debate on Oct 2. It will make news for her, again, whether they want to, or not.

Ultimately, it does not matter. People vote for Presidents. 0bama doesn’t have it in him to be President. I believe that. He’s unelectable.

Gov. Palin has 5 key jobs, 3 of which she has already accomplished, in spades. 1. Her introduction speech - superb. 2. Her convention speech - fantastic 3. Rallying the base - check. I WILL actually vote for McCain now. 4. The debate. In 2 weeks, we will be a month from the election. During that month, if Palin does well in the debate, and I expect she will - her final job does NOT need media support. 5. Her final job is to show up at every small and mid-sized town on the internal polling ‘counties’ map of which counties are pivotal in which key States. If she comes, people will come.

Think about this: unlike even 0bama and Clinton, both from more or less modest backgrounds - Palin is a true ‘Cinderella’ story. She hasn’t been planning on the WH for 30 of her 45 yrs. Hers is literally a fairy tell - and it resonates. She doesn’t need the media to tell that story.

Thank God McCain picked Palin. I held my breath that 0bama would pick Gov. Sebelius and undo Palin as a potential pick. My co-workers think I’m a genius because I was gushing about Palin for weeks before the pick (thank you, Freepers).

The media cannot ignore away any of her key help to McCain. Even if they want to. After McCain wins, they can feel free to ignore her for a year, or two, if they like. She will be the heir apparent of the Party, though, and, they won’t be able to iggy her forever.
