Did anyone else catch Rush today when he said BHO is not african american, but rather his father came from an arab area of africa? We at freeper have known for months that barry is 0% aryan, 44% arab and 6% luo. Yet he was eligible for aa at harvard and gets the tingly legged liberal vote because he is "black"

Rush is wrong. Arab traders did establish a trading port at Dar es Salaam in current Tanzania (among many other trading ports in what is now Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, etc.) But the general population is about as much Arab as Nashville, TN is Cherokee. A little more Arab blood than other areas of Africa, but not an Arab population per se.

I don’t know about the “arab” thing, but Obama is not in any way an “African-American” in the cultural sense. No way, No how. Period. None of his ancestors were slaves in this country, and he never ever had to experience life as a black person descended from slaves in mainstream American culture. You have a good point. He grew up in Indonesia and hawaii. In hawaii he was raised by his typical white grandparents. I would love to hear a tape of his voice from back then.
At some point he was able to affect a” black accent”. Perhaps they had classes on talking “ghetto black” in Trinity church. But blacks that I grew up with spoke with the same accent I spoke with.
