Michelle Obama Put Terrorist Ayers on Speakers Panel

When Michelle Obama was Associate Dean of Students, she put together a "distinguished" panel to speak about Juvenile Justice. One of the speakers was State Senator Barack Obama fresh off being elected with help from the Marxist New Party and Chicago Democratic Socialist Party (see here and here) affiliations. One of the other speakers on the panel was terrorist Bill Ayers. Now the note in the student newspaper (see below) written at the time, called Ayers a "former offender." Now IF THE STUDENT NEWSPAPER KNEW AYERS WAS A TERRORIST, HOW THE HECK DID OBAMA NOT KNOW?

Sure, Michelle Obama created this panel, with Ayers as the centerpiece. He had just written a book on the juvenile justice system. Obama and Ayers were political allies. Of course they would appear on a panel created by Michelle.

Ayers is currently a Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Education. What I don't understand is what has he done to warrant such a teaching position at a public school. His profile mentions no graduate degree education, yet he's a “Distinguished” professor. Distinguished by what? The fact that he blew up some buildings and manage to murder an old girl friend while constructing a bomb?

Obama’s past is a litany of bad associations from Wright to Ayers plus you can throw in some thugs in Chicago and Kenya. Yet, this is the bozo that the Dems want to be President of the United States. Have we lost our collective minds?

Correct! In fact, they expect him to lie and they laugh at those who are fooled as being naive. However, there are many idealists out there who are functioning "useful idiots". They can be changed. Because of that the engrained idealists in the Communist movement are the first to be killed or imprisoned because they will later become dissenters and troublemakers when the truth hits them.

The Ayers connection probably goes back MUCH farther than we know. Frank Marshall Davis, whom Obama met at age TEN, in Hawaii, through his white grandfather, was a native of Chicago, where the Ayers family was ensconced. Davis almost certainly would have known the Ayers family, since both were involved with Alinsky. He might easily have suggested Obama would want to meet Ayers, especially given that the communists were all about linking to one another as often as they could do so. SECONDLY, Ayers was at HARVARD while Obama was there. They traveled in the same circles in the Harvard community. It's almost impossible they didn't meet each other. It's been suggested that the reason Obama’s transcripts can't be accessed is that Obama may have taken classes with Ayers. It would certainly explain why Obama decided to go to Chicago after he graduated.

A reason, one of many, the Left wants more government and more schools is they get much of their funding directly and indirectly from the government.

Always. All government programs and schools need more money to divert from their original charters into culturalizing programs like sex education, promoting homosexuality, etc.

In a speech early on, perhaps in the Democrat primaries, Obama said, among other things, that he will stop the development of new weapons systems, cut our military and build a domestic security force equal to our military. In other words, the Brown Shirts you mentioned.

We haven’t heard those ideas since. In my opinion, those are points McCain and Palin should be making now.

The one problem here is that "author, former offender" as used in the original article do not refer to the same person - there is a 'former juvenile offender' also on the panel. (School paper only ID'd Ayres as an author and observer of the juvenile system.)

That said; comments about Ayres and Obamassiah are accurate enough by themselves, the original blogger erred.

It’s obvious Obama’s association with Ayers was longstanding and much closer than he or his campaign have let on. It’s convenient that Ayers was in NY in close proximity to where Obama was living during undergrad, back when Obama was doing lines. Lo and behold if young Barack doesn’t pack up and move to Chicago to become a “community organizer.”

There is clearly something related to Obama’s relationship with Ayers that could bring his house of cards campaign down.

And bringing up the Keating 5 is incredibly dumb. Now McCain is free to continue to dig into - and demand more answers about - Obama’s past publicly. It looks like the Keating 5 reference and mini-campaign went over like a lead balloon. Nice try, Axeldud.

Obama’s wife puts together a panel and incredibly, Ayers ends up on the panel. Two years after Ayers helped Obama start his political career.

Think of it this way, Wright is connected to Farrakan. Ayers is connected to Chavez. Wright was connected to the Sandinistas. His friend the Palestinian is connected to the PLO when it was officially a terrorist organization.

What are we missing here? Might there be even a nastier connection Obama is hiding? Hey, for the sake of discussion, how about...al Qaeda? Obama apparently had a connection to an adviser to a Saudi prince back when he was attempting to get into Harvard Law.

How about Obama openly campaigning for his communist cousin Odinga who signed a pact with Muslims to enact Sharia Law if elected and started riots when he lost. Obama campaigned for an openly Anti-American candidate in a foreign country in 2006 at taxpayer expense.
