How Democrat Party Fascism Caused the Financial Crisis
TheBigIf
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were both GSE's (Government Sponsered Entities) created by the democrat party. They were not owned by the government as would be the socialist case but were sponsered by and intertwined with the government which would be an example of the fascist case. They were run by political cronies and were driven by political agendas and not by freemarket principles.
Acorn is a political activist group that basically uses questionable tactics to intertwine a political agenda with the marketplace as well. They are known for harrassment and fraud as well and their main agenda is to intertwine their political agenda with the marketplace. Many trade Unions are also know for harrassment and fraud and of course their main agenda has been known to be to intertwine political agendas with the marketplace.
The entire green movement could easily be seen in this light as well. They use methods of harrassment with the goal of having a political agenda intertwined with the marketplace. They want to tell us how to live in everyway from what to buy to how many children we have to what kind of house you live in to how you travel and how much you eat and what, to how much toilet paper you use, on and on.
This is the ideology of the leftwing and the democrat party. Since the days of Wilson and their hero FDR the democrat party has continually pushed us along the path of intertwining their political agendas with the marketplace and that is what has caused this financial crisis today. These banking practises were pushed on the marketplace by groups like ACORN and democrat politicians like Obama.
Obama and the democrats platform promises more intermixing of a political agenda, and big government with the marketplace from the healthcare industry to the energy industry to even Obama's "patriotic employer act". This has been the democrat platform and ideology for nearly a hundered years already. Though now they are getting more and more radical with it.
From what I have read Woodrow Wilson was famous for having his own propaganda agency and his own goon squads (he also had something very similiar to Obamas "patriotic employer act" as well) and in last night's debate again Obama mentioned paying off students tuitions if they served their community (as organizers?). He has continually mentioned setting up community service groups that to me sounds abit like a return to Wilson's goon squads. Of course they also want to further a plitical agenda in the media as well with the "Fairness Act" which is really meant to silence critics.
When Obama says that he wants to take Plumber Joe's wealth and spread it around who is he planning on giving it to? Groups like ACORN?
The housing bubble was caused by the political agenda of the democrats to give loans to those who have done nothing to earn the loans. Now the democrats and Obama want to do the same with healthcare? And with the energy industry? (We have already seen the havoc that ethanol has caused in the marketplace because it was backed purely by a political agenda intertwined with the marketplace. It never earned it's way into the marketplace.)
Even when it came to freetrade in last night's debate Obama was more concerned with having a political agenda intertwined with the marketplace. He claimed that regardless of the fact that it is costing our country 900 billions dollars a year that could be used to create new jobs he wouldnt support it because it did not contain his idea of fairness for the labour unions and bosses.
Already we see how badly a political agenda is intermixed with our big media corporations and our educational institutions. We see what it has done to the banking and housing markets.
Conservatives support capitalism and limited government. We want the markets as free as they can be from a political agenda and from government.
It is time that the democrats are called on their ideology. They seek to expand the amount that politics and the market are intertwined. They seek to expand political control of our lives. This has been their ideology for nearly a hundred years or more and now they are claiming that they will bring "change"? They are only offering "more of the same".
Now all we need is for McCain to condense this down and deliver it in a daily speech.
I think you raise some very important points, points which more of us on the Right need to address. I feel that the Obama economic agenda will be more Marxist than “fascist” as you describe, there is denying the similarities between Marxism and National Socialism.
Have you read Jonah Goldberg’s “Liberal Fascism”? A very perceptive work along these lines, IMO.
