I figured it would be funny to have a thread devoted to all of the strange supposed Presidential Election 2008 predictors. Please post a history of the ones you know and any news on how current ones are playing out.
First one I have found is the current sales of Halloween masks
Yes Obama may be winning on that front but I hear Sarah Palin costumes are huge sellers this Halloween season.
I’ll bet more women who dress as Palin (tip, get the librarian costume) will do better with members of the opposite sex than women who dress as Pelosi or men who dress as Obama.
And why is it okay to put on an Obama mask but not to use makeup? I’d think it was all off limits.
Are there a lot of black men running around in Obama masks this Halloween? Are there a lot of white men going “topless” as Obama at the beach showing off his tan lines? (check the wire service photos, you can see his “collar”, “sleeves” and “wristwatch” areas).
This mask poll is from the “BuyCostumes.com” website. It is a very popular online Halloween store that sells props. masks, costumes, etc, year round. It sells all holiday merchandise, and is a well known and a very reliable store.
