This will cheer you.
Democrats are beaming that their party is outperforming the Republicans in early voting, releasing numbers Wednesday that show registrants of their party ahead 54 percent to 30 percent among the 1.4 million voters who have gone to the polls early. . . .But party breakdowns for turnout aren't the same as final tallies, and at least one poll offered a different view for the campaign of Republican John McCain.
A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.
And Republicans continued to show a traditional strength, leading 50 percent to the Democrats' 30 percent in the 1.2 million absentee ballots already returned.

Keep fighting like Obama had a 20 point lead. They want us to be complacent.
Not only in Florida. There will be a national blow-out for McCain and the Republicans.
Sounds promising but this all hinges on that exit poll being accurate. I’d wait till the dust clears first and not stop fighting in the meantime. Send money, man phone banks or GOTV!
Does this look like lots of Democrats are voting for McCain/Palin?
Dick Morris is on Hannity radio show right now. He thinks the undecideds will trend towards McCain in Florida. He said “the state polls are slow and to watch the national ones. If Obama is 49% or under he loses.”
Keep in mind that people who send in absentee ballots and vote early are probably more likely to be less brain dead and slackerish and therefore more likely Republican than the oafs who have to be pushed, driven, bused, dragged to the polls on voting day.
Don’t be complacent. Keep on with all you got. Never give up. Never give in.
One of the things I am most excited about on election night is watching the media crumble on air as state results are released. I will try as hard as I can to watch MSNBC just for the entertainment.
WHY is our nation allowing “early voting” and reporting of vote tallies so far in advance? What good can come of it? Why then do we even bother to have an Election Day?
Having one day not only keeps it fair (if that is possible any longer) it also is a common bond that every American has - going to the polls on the same day.
No time to get cocky
Okay, what the heck are those numbers supposed to mean? Is the 54 to 30 just Democrats to Republicans? And does the 49-45 McCain lead suggest that many of those Democrats of the 54 to 30 lead are voting Republican?
If so, then Obama is toast...
It’s the “double-reverse Bradley effect.” - Dems are saying they are voting for McCain because they are afraid the MSM will think they are only “saying” they are voting for Obama because of the “Bradley Effect”.
Hey, it has been a rough couple of months for the GOP. Nobody is letting up, especially here, but let’s take good news for what it appears to be.
Only one way to know for sure. What has Pat Robertson been told?
I think Dems will be surprised in Florida. They are making very bad assumptions on the early vote. It is not uncommon for counties with a predominance of registered Democrats to go hugely Republican. We will see but I think there is a very good indication of an undercurrent of turnout for McCain that the polls have missed in overweighting Obama’s strength. It may be enough to carry McCain to victory. Black Obama supporters seem to be the only category that is up. Young voters are not. Barrack is under performing with Jewish voters.
True, but I see McKinney and Nader too. The Green McKinney vote may pull a fair amount from BHO.

Florida Constitutional Same-Sex Marriage Ban: Nov 4th, Amendment 2. Vote Yes!
Official Site: Vote Yes for 2 | FR Key Threads: Florida Gay Marriage Ban
<> 10.20.08: For this Florida constitutional amendment to pass it must have a minimum of 60% approval. Based on the polls, we don't have the necessary votes, but are close. We need a very strong push by all Floridian conservatives to pass Amendment 2. This issue is a Democrats-Soros Shadow Party high priority defeat inititive. They are spreading substantial misinformation in the media to defeat it. Nationally noted financial guru (and gay) Suze Orman has also been spreading the same pack of lies about Amendment 2 in the National media. - FlA

I don’t see that.. Obama already appeals to the fringe left..
This is just a way for more voter fraud and ballot stuffing if Acorn or the Dems see how much they are losing by.
No way any of this should be coming out
I don’t think they can post results can they? Are thee exit polls?
They bused HS kids in today that were eligible to vote, it was a liberal county Kerry carried in 2004...to me that was telling...and kind of strange that they’d allow this.
the oafs who have to be pushed, driven, bused, dragged to the polls on voting day
Hey, . . . :o
I’m a Floridian who’s voting on election day. Most of family are doing the same - and the votes (5) are for McCain/Palin.
The early voting lines have been hours long - I like voting on election day, the old fashioned way. I’ll be there at 7 a.m.
I am in central Florida and the early voting place here has been busy all day every day with lines around the building outside! Gov Crist said they should remain open until 7pm just to ensure everyone can vote. I know at least 10 people who will be voting for McCain on Nov. 4th. I have not voted yet and I am voting McCain. Fox is now saying their new poll is Obama leads by 3 now. I have been beating sense into every undecided I can meanwhile. LOL!
No early ballot results are released by the Florida Division of Elections. Only breakdown of Party affiliation. DemoRats always turn-out higher, over Republicans, in early voting but not absentee ballots. It’s because Floridian Republicans are very busy working and don’t like 2-4 hrs in line to early vote.

I agree completely with you! The US Constitution says that there will be ONE day for federal elections (House of Reps. Senate & President). As far as I'm concerned all early voting is illegal and unconstitutional. I don't even like absentee ballots. "Early" votes, otherwise known as illegal votes, should be thrown out and the people that cast those votes can just vote on election day. I would make an exception for armed forces overseas or posted away from the state they're registered in, or for diplomatic personnel posted overseas.

Exactly. If Obama loses, the media knows it will be their death knell. It's the only reason they are so blantantly in the tank for him.
they are just reporting exit polls... not actual votes...
I'm an old guy. That Madcow thing gives me nocturnal acid reflux.
Just wanted to give an observation from someone who voted early in Florida this time and in 2004.
I live in Lee county Florida which is more of a republican area and where a high turn out is usually good for the republicans. In 2004 I voted early and at that time I noticed that the early voting was somewhat light for there where no lines at all. This kind of concerned me since this area needs to vote heavy. I was relieved to see very long lines develop around lunchtime at a polling place that year and remember the hope that I had as I saw the cavalry finally arrive.
This year I voted early and was surprised at the line, I had to wait over an hour to vote. As I waited in line I took note of who was in line. I noticed more people of color then in the past. There were some older white folks, but the largest group was like me (middle age and white). I was in line with my 22year old son who then made mention that there were not many people his age. I drove by a couple of days later to see how the line was and it looked similar to what I saw the day I voted.
Wonder what the rest of the country is seeing?

No. Anti socialists damn well better get out and vote or socialism it will be.
Exit polls are notoriously bad but I do not ever remember good numbers from them for republicans before. This election night could be a lot of fun.
