Welcome to Europe.

Yes, welcome to Europe. Welcome to socialized everything and feminized culture. Welcome to the arrogant smuggness of those who 'care' more than you do. Welcome to ever increasing health and safety laws, anti-discrimination laws, eco-friendly laws and an overweaning government that intrudes without competence in every part of your lives. Welcome to waiting over a year to get a hip replacement. Wecome to 54% total tax burden on ordinary folk. Welcome to a democracy ordered to please 'in vogue' minorities. Welcome to talking with your enemies and appeasing Islam.

Welcome to a world much less safe than it was 24 hours ago.

Chin up FRiends, show the world how to emphatically reject this wussification.

With respect and admiration,

vimto.

You know Vimto.

I love you. But, i think you are making a mistake to say that this will happen over night.

It has already happened.

I would go so far and say that tonight happened, because America has already been changing into Europe.

There where a four people who sang some decades ago, “This is the last cowboy song”.

I am afraid that was a leading indicator.

Cheers.

why must they destroy our country and change it to pure crap. People want to come here because it was suppose to be everything that europe isn't and other hellhole countries around the globe. They want to destroy the last place on earth that was suppose to be different from all the rest.....and well it's going to suck. It's been going in that direction for some time. The constitution should’ve been written better to protect america from politicians and voters!

Yes Eurowit, point taken.

It will not happen overnight and yes I guess this is the result of the process not the start of it.

Yet it can be rejected.

It all looks good on paper to these guys. Just wait till reality bites.

Obama is not your average lefty/liberal. He is dangerous.

The only good thing I can see coming from this.

Is that the Euro-American relationship will become instantly better.

Because “we” all love Obama.

Heck the Norwegian PM just has a presser, praising Obama’s elections.

Our socialists in goverment might even buy the Joint strike fighter now :-)

I am sure Both the tories and labour are expressing similar sentiments?

Cheers.

American economic vitality has been a principal support of the stagnant European economies, just as the Soviets stood behind Cuba. As we turn socialist, they’ll be hit hard.

Oh yes, it matters what is going on in America. As your industry will be hit by taxation, labor laws, eco taxes and restrictive practices of all kinds and resdistribution of wealth the UK will continue to slide into prolonged recession. Investments will dry up....

But heck, there is always Isalmic Oil Money to bail us out (that’s what Brown is looking to right now!

Ramadamadigdong!

but....We might yet wake up!!!!

Kind regards,

Where will the Euroweeines go for their healthcare?

Who will fight their military battles?

No real American will fight under an anti-American Hussein.

One of our Founding Fathers wrote that the Constitution was designed to guide a moral, religious, and responsible people. It would fail if the people were not of that persuasion. I believe it is fair to say that at least half of our population has failed the test.

Welcome to war.

There is a patsy at the helm now.Worse, there is a wannabe Stalin without the extraterritorial ambitions or the desire to defend the homeland.

The Constitution was constructed as well as can be. But if it is ignored then it is of no avail.

Most people in the U.S. are moral, religious, and responsible. What are they to think when banks, Wall Street execs, and other assorted useless fools are rewarded for behaving like thieves?

You have correctly identified the problem...but blamed the wrong people.

They might buy it if we continue to produce it. Maybe they will buy some used fighters from us as we decommission them.

Who is going to support a relentlessly declining American economy?

If we don’t dump Obamanomics in a few years, I think it’ll be India, Eastern Europe, and even tiny Ireland.

Yes, he is.

And to the original post- this will make Europe look like Utopia. Welcome to Zimbabwe or Cuba.

I am ashamed of my country.

"Most people in the U.S. are moral, religious, and responsible." I disagree. The secular attack on religious folk is mind-numbing. Look to San Francisco for what will soon be acceptable morals. Look to your neighbor who makes $300 a week but lives in a $240,000 home for today's 'responsible'. "What are they to think when banks, Wall Street execs, and other assorted useless fools are rewarded for behaving like thieves?" While there certainly is blame to be laid on Wall Street and some banks, let us not leave Barney Fag and his helpers out of this discussion. Many banks were forced by DC legislation to contribute to the recent financial meltdown. I work in the financial arena and can attest to what Sarbannes-Oxley, Community Reinvestment act, and other odious legislation has cost many financials. Many banking services that were once free are now very expensive. Fees and other cost-based services were put in place to offset the losses from bad loans and other regulations that were required by DC law.
