And are they required to provide religiously proper meals to the Muslim prisoners too??????
Have we lost certain “common sense” thinking? Prisoners, in prision for serious crimes, should lose certain freedoms and rights, by virtue of being punished for their crimes.
I am all in favor of humane treatment of prisoners, however, the details of mealtimes and being sensitive to relgious doctrine and all that is carrying the concept too far. They are convicts. They committed serious crimes to be there in the first place. They don’t deserve any special treatment. Why can’t our courts and judges apply common sense to these crazy ACLU lawsuits?
I think there is a “fifth column” of judges who are friendly or allies of the ACLU.
There is no common sense in liberalism.
