Chicagograd--The New DeFacto Capital
Welcome2thejungle

Posted on 12/09/2008 8:29:24 AM PST by Welcome2thejungle

I wake up this morning to learn that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (don't ask me to pronounce his name) is under arrest on corruption charges. Like the Deity-elect, he too is a product of Chicago's cesspool politics, perhaps the most corrupt one-party political machine in the entire country.

One of the great myths expounded about BHO by the left stream newsmedia and his other enablers was that this man was somehow different and "above" politics as usual. Apparently millions of gullible Americans fell for this whopper hook, line, and sinker. BHO is just about the most political animal you could ever find. Ironically, it was John McCain who tried to rise above partisan politics working with members of the other party as often as he did.

YOU DO NOT RISE THROUGH THE RANKS OF THIS HIDEOUSLY VILE POLITICAL POLITICAL CESSPOOL BY BEING A REFORMER AND BHO KNOWS THIS ALL TOO WELL. His early political career was largely financed by convicted felon Tony Rezko. While in the state legislature and the U.S. Senate, BHO worked assiduously to steer public funds (earmarks) to Rezko's public slum projects. BHO knows how the game is played. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Politics in Chicago ain't bean bag and BHO knows this all to well.

The Daley machine is no stranger to political corruption. It was Joseph Kenndy Sr. who purchased the support of Mayor Daley to secure the votes of the dearly departed which made JFK's election possible. No other city assigns precinct captains and ward healers to its cemetaries the way Chicago does.

There is also the radical edge Chicagograd has which surely must have attracted the young BHO's attention when he decided to leave the paradise of the Hawaiian Islands for the mainland. It is common knowledge that BHO launched his very first campaign for public office at a fundraiser in the home of Weather Underground terrorist leader Bill Ayers and the vicious pig of wife of his, Bernadine Dohrn, a woman so perfectly vile and hideously evil that she actually expressed exhilaration and support when she learned of the Manson murders. My God, how would the left stream media reacted if it was learned that John McCain was associated with Timothy McVeigh or attended fundraisers at the Unabomber's house?

Chicagograd is also the hometown of the godfather of the entire radical left in what I now call the USSA--the United Socialist States of America. Saul Alinsky, the Anerican version of Karl Marx, authored Rules For Radicals then dedicated his book to Lucifer. True story. More to the point, Alinsky is the founder of community organizing or more aptly community agitating. ACORN is a direct descendant of his works. BHO taught and practiced Alinsky's methods as a Chicagograd street organizer and college lecturer.

The American people are VERY NAIVE these days. They seem to think community organizers are similar to volunteers who come into the inner city to perform good works such as painting out graffiti, driving old folks to church, coaching after school sports, and serving food to the hungry in soup kitchens. No, that isn't was professional community organizers do. Their work is mostly political, often rabble rousing, in-your-face-agitating. Most importantly voter registration in inner city areas beyond the oversight of bipartisan watchdogs. How many Republican precinct captains do you have in places like South Chicago to police and report voter fraud? When there is no political competition, there is much greater opportunity for corruption, voter fraud, and ballot box stuffing.

Let's not fail to mention Chicagograd's vaunted religious establishment. What can you say about a city whose leading religious leaders include men like Louis Farrakhan, Rev. Wright, and Fr. Pfegler? Did not BHO steer earmarks to Fr. Pfegler's project as a U.S. Senator? Did not BHO convert to Christianity and join Trinity United Church because of its huge base and political clout within the community? Of course, we're not allowed to discuss these taboo subjects and John McCain refused to even address the Rev. Wright issue during the campaign. Turns out that Wright is as ignorant as he is racist and inflammatory. He said December 7, 1941 is the date we dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

Chicagograd could not have descended to this level of hatred and radicalism without significant help from the city's elites like the Prtizkers, or the media, or the educational establishment. What truly can be said about a city where violent terrorists and monsters like Ayers and Dohrn are now accepted as respectable leaders in the community?

Something truly evil has happened to this once great city and now it has been foisted upon the entire country. Where is the accountability here? Yesterday I read that some of the nation's leading newspapers were in dire straights and filing for bankruptcy including the NY Slimes, the LA Slimes, and the Chicagograd Tribune. Serves them right for pushing this unknown, inexperienced, radical left community street agitator upon the rest of the country. They ought to hang their heads in shame!

Thank you Chicagograd!

Yes.

But it used to be a wonderful, jolly and fun sort of corrupt cesspool.

Now it’s just an oogy and disturbing kind of corrupt cesspool.

;^)

We as a Republic are in deep doo-doo. The current crop of politicians, elected by Americans, believe it is OK to sieze from successful corporations so that everyone ends up more "equal." This will translate directly to street thugs who will take that mentality and go with it - and your stuff is rightfully theirs. That is truly where we are headed. Own a business? That's not fair. You are exploiting workers, you should share equally with them. You own a nice home? That's not fair, others live in squalor.

This will snowball on us - stay ready.

Two thousand years ago, the people were given an opportunity to free a man from jail -- and the people chose Barrabas and rejected Jesus.

In November, the people were given an opportunity to elect a reformer -- the people chosen Obama and rejected Palin.

The long, sad history of mankind is the story of humans making bad choices. We continually choose Barrabas.

Americans didn’t fall for it. They chose it. Just like they chose Clinton twice. They knew he was corrupt, but they did it anyway.

San Francisco too used to be a great city until the liberal/left ruined it.

The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and Chicago Tribune all used to be great world class newspapers until the liberals ruined them as well.

The liberals ruin and destroy everything they touch. Look at the city governments and the dysfunction public school districts in all of our nation’s bi cities.

Sometimes, a city like NYC does get it right when they elected Rudy Giuliani. He REALLY did turn that city around and dramatically reduced crime. He was also pro-business and cut taxes.

Excellent analogy.

Barabas was a notorious criminal and bandit, yet people voted for him overwhelmingly.

Obama is a notorious criminal and bandit, yet people voted for him overwhelmingly.

Our Republic has become Jonestown Version 2.0, with 63 million people exposing themselves as complete fools.

Welcome to FR... :)

I agree with everything you wrote in this post — with one exception. The PEOPLE of Chicago, the conservatives there, and Chicago itself isn’t the same as the “Chicago Establishment of Corruption”. Within the Chicago political establishment is the place where the corruption has been growing roots and flourishing for generations. It is so much a part of daily life that most residents of Cook County - particularly those who grow up there (like myself) don’t SEE another way. It is so far out of our reach that it’s nearly impossible to have any effect on ANYTHING there - it is a true testament to the ability of government to insulate itself.

If anything, with the increased attention of the nation on the City of Chicago and Cook County - not to mention Springfield - maybe the residents of Cook County (and even the County’s GOP) may be able to gain some ground back. Although, I’m still not going to hold my breath.

I just ask one thing as someone whose hometown is Chicago — please don’t confuse the people with the politicians... It’s really an unfair thing to do to the rest of the Chicagoans. It’s still a great city underneath the vile filth of the government.

Thank you so much.

Except for layover flights at O’Hare and a visit to a suburb of Chicago, I have never really experienced your great city.

I have, however, read much about it. It has stunning architecture and a magnificent downtown. It has some beautiful neighborhoods with stately homes particularly in North Chicago. It has a wonderful waterfront. It has magnificent learning institutions. Is the University Chicago still conservative or have the libs ruined that as well?

Chicago also has some world class cultural institutions and art museums as well as outstanding restaurants and night life.

It is a shame that the liberals have ruined the place in other areas. South Chicago is as violent and gang infested as ever. The public schools are totally dysfunctional. Taxes are through the roof. Graft is the norm. Basic city services such as snow removal are subpar. The politics is worse than ever.

Great cities need great leaders or they die. I know. I’m from Cleveland originally.
