That's the story in all of this! Obama offered a bribe to Blago to get his crony in office. Watch for the MSM to ignore and spin this...
I think he knows EXACTLY what’s going on.
I have a question for any lawyers out there............
If Obama knew of the selling of his senate seat, even though he may not have had any direct talks in these discussions, and he (at a minimum) failed to act lawfully by turning in the conspirators, wouldn’t he still be guilty of being a part of the conspiracy?
"Misprision of felony" is still an offense under United States federal law after being codified in 1909 under 18 U.S.C. § 4:
Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
This offense, however, requires active concealment of a known felony rather than merely failing to report it.[6]
If Fitzgerald asked Obama about it and Obama said no, then Obama would be in trouble over this statute, IMHO.
Someone posted on another thread the the Blackie-O had a similar job on a board as what Blago was trying to get for his wife.

The scuttlebutt is that Rahm Emanuel blew the whistle on this. The problem with the tapes is that Obama can easily claim that the aides talking with Gov. B were merely speculating on what Obama might be willing to offer, as opposed to convey particular offers that had been made. Rahm probably knew or deduced that FBI might be tapping the Governor, hence the safest strategy was to look clean as a whistle. Of course, he couldn’t withdraw Axelrod’s comments of 2 weeks ago, so they sort of hung him out to dry. Of course, in so doing, any critical observer would have been led to wonder about Obama’s credibility rather than believing Axelrod would have “mispoken” on such a matter.
That's what they said about Nixon; seems it should apply here.
The author seems to forget that the succession goes VP, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Secretary of State,. . .
While the payback might be sweet for Hillary, there is no way even a scandal that brings down Obama and Biden in one go would get her into the White House.
