Okay, I know that I'm out there on this one. But, Obama is not elected yet. If there's chance he could be indicted in the first two years, he shouldn't be.

And McCain would be any better, based on some of his post election comments?

But doesn't he get to fire everyone who might be inclined to indict him, and replace them with his minions? So if he is elected, what chance is there of any indictment?

We (the RNC) will be back in 2012.... if the nation still exists. Hopefully the NYT will bankrupt by then :)

I believe in 21 States, the electors are legally required to vote for the candidate they are assigned to vote for. The only way that would change is if a candidate is removed as an option for them. Unfortunately, we figured this out on election night that these 21 states would put Obambi over the top of the 270 required.

HELL NO. I would rather endure 4 years of Biden than McCain.

He can certainly fire U.S. Attorneys if he gets elected and inaugurated.

My point is: HE’S NOT ELECTED YET!

Not until December 15th when the Electoral College votes.

Don’t elect him, electors.

Legally, you’re probably right. So, we have 4 days left to remove him as an option on the ballot for the electors.

Force Fitzgerald to answer this question in public: Have you collected any evidence in your probe of Tony Rezko implicating Obama that might be presented to a Grand Jury?

I thought Fritzgerald (contrary to his report) said that this wasn't tied to Obambi. He needs to be asked under oath or before a grand jury, not to reporters.

Who do you think unleashed Fitzgerald?

Blago isn’t useful to Obama anymore, Blago goes away. It’s that simple. Nobody ever said Illinois politics was pretty.

He said “this complaint” does not reference Obama. Weasal words.

What about a future complaint filed based on Rezko testimony?

But the complaint does reference Michelle Obama.

I don’t think Obama unleashed Fitzgerald. Not based on Rezko’s recent statements that Fitz is pressing him for dirt on both Blago and Obama. My opinion.

I just thought of something. Obama as president will shine a big spotlight on Dem corruption. He is from the heart of dem corruption, Chicago politics..

That is, if some reporters have the guts or testicular fortitude to take it on.

Plus, with the MSM on Barky’s side...he’ll get away with it. I think Gov. Rod was set-up by Barky. Now that barky is President-elect, Rod wanted payback and Barky gives him the middle finger named Fitzgerald!

“If some reporters have some guts”, or if some newspaper that just filed bankruptcy - say the Chicago Tribune - decided it wanted to sell some newspapers to pay their way out!
