I think that a little research would show that Rashid Khalidi approached Percy Sutton to help Obama gain entrance to Harvard.
It breaks my heart that Percy Sutton has been thrown under the bus. Percy Sutton was one of the Tuskeegee Airmen. He didn’t need anyone’s standards lowered for him to become a successful man. He was a politically powerful man in New York City who extended his hand in grace to a possibly unknown young black man and made his admission to Harvard possible. Percy Sutton was Malcolm X’s lawyer. He was later the Borough President of Manhattan. And as a thank you to Mr. Sutton, Obama has inferred that he is an addled old man. I think not. I’ll put my money on Percy’s truth.

We know this for a fact: Not a single Hawaii hospital has come forward and announced officially and publicly that Obama was born there. Another poster wrote that a Hawaii newspaper claimed that Obama was born in a certain Haw ii hospital. If true, then I would be curious to know what the newspaper cites as official proof that Obama was born in a certain Hawaii hospital, when every other news media in the free world can't seem to find any such official information, and Obama isn't talking.

And here’s one for you. Obama was adopted by an Indonesian, making him a citizen of Indonesia, which does not recognize dual citizenships. He was definitely adopted, because foreign nationals could not attend Indonesian state schools and Barry Soetoro did.
If he didn’t formally assert his claim to United States nationality within 6 months of his 18th birthday, he lost his right to reclaim his United States nationality on February 5th, 1980. There would be a record of this assertion.
If he used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan in 1981, he’s toast, but who will investigate this poseur?
This will all come out in time.
