Media Forgets That Wall Street Rip Off Artist is BIG Democrat Donor

The wires services and the rest of the Old Media have also been reporting on a scandal that doesn't have to do with Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich. But, like the Blago story line, the media seem to be forgetting one small aspect of the story of Wall Street rip off artist Bernard Madoff. Like Blago, Madoff's connections to the Democrat Party seem to be of little interest to the media.

Very few media stories of the fraud perpetrated by former Nasdaq chairman Madoff mentions the heavy financial support that Madoff has donated to the Democrat Party. Campaign contributions by Madoff show many thousands of dollars going to Democrat candidates and causes. Including $100,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign, thousands to Charles Rangel (D, NY), Charles Schumer (D, NY), and $6,000 to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Madoff also gave generously to Senator Frank Lautenberg (D, NJ) who runs a charitable foundation that invested with Madoff.

With the money that Madoff spread around in contributions is it really surprising that his actions went ignored by regulatory agencies?

Note to MSM and Hollywood limo liberals : In the average Hollywood movie Mr. Madoff would be a dramatic hero. The cops and bean counters going after him would be seen as "not cool".

Someone has reaped what they've sown.

The MSM laughs at dem crimes - says "everyone does it". Hollywood plays the honest people as though their rubes. This is payback. Reaped what was sown...

Sadly, so have the rest of us - with the creeps of the world emboldened by Hollywood's love of the underbelly. And the MSM passes for any outrage committed by a dem.

These people have been glorifying criminals for so long it makes me sick - the fact they got ripped off by one is justice. Their movies have encouraged the creeps of the world to prey on the rest of us - and I guess these Hollywood BIGS felt their money and expensive security systems would safeguard them from the consequences of the filth they pumped into he world. I am thrilled that they were NOT immune.

And the MSM will also reap it's reward - the loss of trust. The "rubes" cut their subscriptions. They quit watching. So feel free to give criminal dems a "pass", put out movies with twisted values - because you elites are not immune from what you've put out into the culture.
