These days I’ve been scratching my head wondering what in the world is going on with a man I used to admire. I’m talking about Newt Gingrich. Newt’s new style of softball politically correct politics has really got me wondering, When did Newt decide to sell his soul ?

This has to do with the law and the future of our country. All actions have consequences and if he broke the law, he has to reap the consequences, what ever this might be. We are not talking about adultery here.
After a couple of years of the coming administration, this may very well become the land of plenty.

Newt Gingrich disturbs me. He is definetally trying to usher in some sort of big-government style of republicanism.
He makes absolutely no sense on many of the most important issues that face Americans.
The same was said when the Democrats lost seats in 2002 and 2004. Jon Stewart even did a skit about the death of the Democrat party.
Forgive me if I don’t accept the premise as a set fate.
All the same, based on the actions of the Republican Party currenly I don’t foresee a return of the majority soon. But not because it’s unattainable. Rather because of the unwillingness to accept responsibility and be governed by principle among the leadership.

Unless Obama screws up badly the next four years, possible but not likely, the Republican nominee may win nothing outside the Deep South in 2012.
