Actually they didn’t discover the spot that makes you feel spiritual...They discovered what has to be overcome first.
For those of us who believe we have a spirit, not just a soul of behavior mechanism, there would naturally be some means by which the spirit influences the beahvior mechanism, some spacetime structure somehow tuned to the spiritual ‘frequencies’.
Toning down dissonance from the soul would be essential to ‘hearing the still small voice’ ...
This isn’t the spirituality spot; it’s the original sin spot—activity here makes one less likely to be spiritual.

so if someone votes for conservatives, the federal officials will order a spirit-ectomy of the brain.
muslims are against non-muslims doing that. Meanwhile here at home the RATs feel that only the entitled should be allowed to breathe and everyone else should have to pay for it, the moderates aren't sure if it's a good or a bad thing and conservatives think that breathing is a God given right.
