Susan Collins - Was she drunk?
The GOP Wilderness ^ | February 9, 2009 | The GOP Willderness

Posted on 02/09/2009 5:04:21 AM PST by bmweezer

RINO Sen. Susan Collins was on the Today Show this morning (no link currently available) along with Sen. Ben Nelson this morning. Collins - who along with fellow RINOS Sen. Olympia Snowe and Sen. Arlen Specter - appeared drunk when explaining the many virtues of the impending socialist stimulus bill.

If someone gets a link please let us know and we'll update this post.

Why can we not just jettison these individuals....and I do mean INDIVIDUALS from the party. Deny them the R after their title. Keep them from any party funds......make them a mockery. We have to brand the GOP as a party that stands for something because we will not fall for this bill. We need to go hunting for the porkulus bill and kill it and cut it up and send it to the four corners of socialist Russia and leave it there to rot. We need to come up with our own bill and then use that against the Dems in the next election. We need to lead and we have no leaders in our party. Just a bunch of sissies.

The least the Party could do is disown these three publicly, loudly, and with malice. If it is the right thing to do, do it, and may they never get elected to public office under the Republican banner ever again. Is the party just going to go along with their outright treachery. They have been bought. There is no honor among thieves, and they are evidence.

Don’t get me started on the nineteenth amendment to the Constitution, either.

If McConnell REALLY thought this bill is dangerous and harmful to the nation, he would call all three into his office one at a time and say, “Vote for this bill and I’ll immediately pull all your committee assignments, period.”

To make it completely clear to them, he would add some colorful words I can’t post here.

True. The Senate isn’t used to working more than four days
a week!

I think she’s the headmistress, Mrs. Garrett, from The Facts of Life.

Isn’t it painful to listen to her? Like the worst kindergarten teacher ever. Is she married? (shudder)

I think she likely has a tremor related disorder. She is always like this. I do not believe it is serious as it doesn’t appear to me to be any worse than it always is. I’m guessing it is something on the order of essential tremor, a troublesome but benign disorder. It is not Parkinsons from what I have seen of her.

I read sometime ago that she grew up hearing-impaired. I can’t find any information on that now.

.....Her role in the Senate is to make Barbara Boxer look intelligent by comparison...

Correct. And as night follows day, Barbara Boxer's role is to make Dianne Feinstein look brilliant.
