An ACORN insider just told me that the group is planning to send hundreds of activists to Capitol Hill this Wednesday to press lawmakers to approve the porkulus spending legislation that would give the heavily tax-subsidized ACORN a shot at up to $5.2 billion in taxpayer dollars.
I wrote a massive profile of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) in the November Foundation Watch, have written several articles about ACORN in the American Spectator, and talked about ACORN on "The G. Gordon Liddy Show" on Feb. 6.
Meanwhile, the D.C. Examiner has a good primer by Kristen Lopez Eastlick, senior economic analyst for the Employment Policies Institute, on the ACORN-friendly provisions of the so-called stimulus bill.
Well of COURSE they will!
This is a surprise....how?
Of course, Pigs at the Porkulus trough. What a shock.
These “NUTS” are going to meet up with some serious Freepers!
They have 100 and something front organzations and are nothing more than a vote fraud criminal organization
Okay, you three liberal Rinos...this is ridiculous.
Plus...where is NOW? All these construction jobs are aimed at men.
It’s not like the ACORN thugs or the shiftless lazies they represent have anything to do other than hang out at the welfare office - unless they count whining about their supposed victimhood as a full-time JOB.
They’ll be practicing for taking the 2010 census.
They've already sent one of their activists to the White House, his name is Zero.
when they estimate 99% of America are minorities and need vast sums of tax dollars
not white men, Robert B Reich made that clear
ACORN....Just robbing the taxpayer and giving it to those who pay nothing.....
Can’t wait to slam the door in their faces.
They have 100 and something front organzations and are nothing more than a vote fraud criminal organization.
The Democratic Party of today to a tee.
RICO should apply.
Easy to swarm when you don’t have a serious day job.
"Hundreds of activists" makes it sounds like unpaid citizens coming together for a cause they believe in - when in fact these people are paid a salary - with the money coming from YOU.
They're funded either directly by you - your tax dollars - or indirectly by you - tax breaks for "non-profits". Anyone charmed?
ACORN pays it's "activists"... Well, actually YOU pay them... (see my post above)
I saw them today crawling all over the senate office buildings.
Got a mole in ACORN eh?
Disguised as a squirrel?
pigs and acorns- a natural pairing
behold change, america
