PING!
Top Ten!
Now to read...
In at 3.
Hah! Top ten!
top 6?
I coulda been IBP!
You would have liberals sucking for air if they were forced to listen to Rush for that amount of time. LOL!
Won't happen.
Garde la Foi, mes amis! Nous nous sommes les sauveurs de la République! Maintenant et Toujours!
(Keep the Faith, my friends! We are the saviors of the Republic! Now and Forever!)
LonePalm, le Républicain du verre cassé (The Broken Glass Republican)
Why not? Maybe celeb liberals won't volunteer. But I am sure there are enough anonymous libs who want a free lunch and dinero to listen to Rush. Also liberal bloggers would be interested in taking the Rush Challenge just to report on it.
For the EIB Network the incentive to carry out this experiment is the fantastic publicity along with new listeners it would bring to Rush's show. Many libs would be curious to see if they can withstand the Rush Rays from listening to the show.
The only problem I’d have with this s the sample size seems a bit small, especially if you want to have subgroups.
Pulling number out of nowhere, maybe 250 or so total subjects, with at least 25 in each subgroup, might be enough to show statistical significance.
While the “celebrity” idea is good for a chuckle, I’d have a hard time believing you’d get enough participation to make it worthwhile.
I’m intrigued with the electrodes. Would they be implanted right into the cerebral cortex; or, would it involve simple shaving of the head and and those sticky electrodes.
Like I said, I’m open to suggestions. The 50 volunteers idea isn’t set in stone.
Is Tom Foley still around? The former Democrat Speaker of the House would volunteer just for the free lunches since he was once caught stealing bagels on an air flight.
Dunno about Foley, but Daschle doesn’t appear to be doing much these days... I’m sure he’d be available for a “short” experiment.
Here’s an idea. On the final day of the experiment, they could meet Rush in person!
17!
I don't think you can get enough true liberals to make the experiment. Possibly you could get the “politically apathetic”.
I sit next to a huge lib at work. Giant Obama and democrat supporter. Did volunteer work. Manned phone banks to GOTV. All the grassroots stuff a person dedicated to the party and its ideas would likely do.
So on a near daily basis I will hit her with something Obama or a democrat in congress wants to do, or has done. But I will couch it with the "what do you think of this idea..." or something similar.
100% of the time she is in opposition. And then she gets angry when I let her know that her Messiah or another democrat is pushing it. Not angry at them, angry at me!
One thing she supports big time for some reason is federal funding of enbryonic stem cell research. I nicely asked her, how much have you personally donated to help fund the research. She replied, "what does that have to do with anything?" I again asked the question. She was unable to comprehend the simple question. So I just said, "is the answer zero? Is the answer you have not donated a dime of your own money for the research you so strongly support?" She replied yes.
I then asked her how she can justify the confiscation of my money under threat of force to pay for something she supports if she is unwilling to donate a single dime of her own money freely.
Her response... "thats just crazy." As in I am crazy for asking such a thing.
If she wasn't 5' 3", 95 lbs, with DD's, who knows where she would be in life.
