Just How Low Have Democrats Sunk – Is Killing Seniors Now Not Beyond Limits? (Breaking on Fox

Obama’s team of despots has turned a Stimulus Bill into a Kill the Elderly bill

And instead of using those views to gain acceptance to a mental institution of his choice, Tom Daschle wants them enacted as policy. We already know who was receptive to his views; some man who promised hope and change and who did not tell us that those involved killing seniors and the very ill.

Obama’s team of despots has turned a Stimulus Bill into a Kill the Elderly bill. And the Democrats in the Senate, including Ben Nelson, Bill Nelson, Joe Lieberman, Arlen Specter and the two nitwits from Maine are too stupid or too reckless to put up a fuss. We, as citizens of the United States of America, can’t be. Our nation was founded on better morals than this.

The Democrats have declared war on the elderly. And they will suffer the shame of history as a result.

These are not compassionate people. These are not good people. These are despicable and outrageous beasts and the time has come to finally call them what they are.

Here America, here are the “leaders” you just elected. Cry and pray, but also take action. This nation was built on better stuff than that.

It’s a sad day when even columnists who’ve engaged “liberals” (henceforth to be called fascists) in dialogue and discussion, end up having to sound like Michael Savage, who, quite frankly, seems to be right about the uproar he’s been raising for years. But it would be an even sadder day if no one spoke up in outrage against this brutality.

We don't need to actually kill seniors. We just need to encourage them all to take up smoking so that they'll pay tobacco taxes and die sooner. This way, they'll help save Social Security as well!

This is an example of what we are in for...they snuck this in late Saturday- no one will own up to adding it - but we are informed this is one of Tom Daschle’s pet ideas.

I think Teddy Kennedy should just accept his brain tumor as part of getting old and give it up. Preferably before this vote goes down.

It’s like witnessing a train wreck in slow motion.

It more resembles the Bullet Train with Casey Jones at the throttle.

Bloomberg news has an article on this,,starts with monitoring health info and determining cost effective treatments as allowable. Discouraging experimentaltreatments. Would affect cancer treatment which is now sort of a stable disease for some with longer survival. That might be disallowed. This has great ramifications for older people as well as anyone with chronic disease.

I’m still learning what the language is- but the idea is that if the GOVERNMENT decides that it costs too much for a hip replacement (for example) the patient will be denied. This decision will not be made by the doctor or even insurance company...but by the GOVERNMENT...it will help “to guide your doctor’s decisions...”

RUSH: ...So Daschle says we need to become more like Europe. People need to accept catastrophic diagnosis and forget it. If you're told it's over, it's over. We can't keep spending money on people who want experimental treatments! We just can't do this. Now, "Daschle says health-care reform 'will not be pain free.' Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. That means the elderly will bear the brunt." You read that right.

Daschle says senior citizens "should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age," instead of trying to have them treated. "Medicare now pays for treatments deemed safe and effective. The stimulus bill would change that and apply a cost-effectiveness standard set by the Federal Council (464). The Federal Council is modeled after a UK board discussed in Daschle's book. This board approves or rejects treatments using a formula that divides the cost of the treatment by the number of years the patient is likely to benefit. Treatments for younger patients are more often approved than treatments for diseases that affect the elderly, such as osteoporosis." For example: "In 2006, a UK health board decreed that elderly patients with macular degeneration had to wait until they went blind in one eye before they could get a costly new drug to save the other eye.

"It took almost three years of public protests before the board reversed its decision. If the Obama administration's economic stimulus bill passes the Senate in its current form, seniors in the US will face similar rationing. Defenders of the system say that individuals benefit in younger years and sacrifice later." Let me translate this for you. You are a seasoned citizen. You come down with a disease that is not immediately life-threatening. You go into your doctor. The doctor consults the federal database to get your health care records. He then has to consult this new health council board. They then figure the cost of treating whatever's wrong with you, based on the statistics that tell 'em how long you're going to live -- and if the cost vastly outweighs the number of years you're going to live, they will deny you treatment.

That's what Daschle says: you just need to become accepting. Seniors need to become accepting of their condition. Basically, you need to just go away and die. We don't have the money. I'll tell you the architect for this. I mean, she credits Daschle, but who was that governor in Colorado? It was Richard Lamm of Colorado: Old people have "a duty to die." Get out of the way because they're putting too much pressure on the health care system. Younger people, they'll get the treatment because it will be more cost effective. The statistics say they'll live longer. Now, the reason that I'm harping on this... We got the call from the nurse. I wanted to tell her what was in this bill to reflect... This is in the stimulus bill. This is national health care, essentially. It is in the "stimulus bill," and they snuck it in. (cont.)

I know of a few elderly people...

They aren't people. They're different, special.

Is this the answer for Social Security? Can’t collect it for long if you’re too dead to cash the checks...then the money can be channeled to the “poor”...

OMG! I just don't know what to say. This guy needs to go

“What exactly is in the stimulus package that is intended to end the life of senior citizens?”

Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “Meaningful user is not defined in the bill. That will be left to the HHS secretary, who will be empowered to impose “more stringent measures of meaningful use over time.”

Daschle says health care reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors, he says, should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. And you thought the government wouldn’t ration your health care.

This is the most frightening administration in our history- and it’s not even 4 weeks old.

Has ANYONE read this damn thing?

If you go to Limbaugh's site and click the part about socialized health care, I believe he states the page numbers there. The translation is basically that your health care will be tracked through a federal computer system. If you get sick, your doctor will have to discuss your diagnosis with the Feds to determine which "level" of treatment you will receive. This will be weighted by your past medical problems and your age. Basically, what this means is they will determine how aggressive your treatment should be based on estimated success of treatment, cost to the government, and how many tax-paying years you have left in you. The money quote from Daschle is (paraphrased), "Seniors are just going to have to accept that some problems come with age instead of trying to treat every little problem."

Bottom line is that on this proposed program, Ted Kennedy right now would be wheeled out in his chair and placed next to the dumpster for the next trash pickup.

Specter is truly incompetent...listening to him now and he’s simply not getting the severity of the situation.

I’ve been calling my two Senator’s offices since 9- lines are all busy.
