You are 100% correct. We serve a merciful and loving God. However, he is judgemental in the end. Those who choose not to serve Him and go against His teachings will find out too late what the ultimate penalty is.

It’s always amazing to me how people can turn away from a godly way of living and interacting with others.

Maybe Harry Reid was decent before he got into politics.. I don’t know. Washington can do stuff to people. All the more amazing that Pres. Bush (though not perfect for his wrong stances on illegal immigration and the bailouts!) stuck to his convictions and to God’s word, when it came to issues of right to life for the unborn, and for fighting for justice of those oppressed overseas, like in Afghanistan and Iraq. And Bush is a deeply faithful, good man, and one who you could trust to keep his word.

What we have now for “leadership” in Washington is depressing.
