This is just amazing! Rick Santelli of CNBC on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade this morning absolutely calls out President Barack Obama on his plan to essentially make taxpayers pay for people who took out bad mortgages. Santelli says:
'The government is promoting bad behavior... do we really want to subsidize the losers' mortgages... This is America! How many of you people want to pay for your neighbor's mortgage? President Obama are you listening? How about we all stop paying our mortgage! It's a moral hazard.'He even suggests what we may need is another "Boston Tea Party!" . . . . (Watch Video)

Sorry if that’s the case. I skimmed through headlines and didn’t catch it.
Everyone is excited because someone in the MSM stated the obvious?
What’s the big deal? It’s not going to be the start of a trend in MSM reporting, that’s for sure.
The ‘big deal’ is its a NBC show.
Its like catching a Roman Catholic Cardinal at a porn theater.
no because the traders all around him SPONTANEOUSLY STARTED CHEERING.
ONe trader even jumped on camera and suggested “we should all stop paying our mortgages. Paying your mortgage is a moral hazard!”
The was not just a commentator stating the obvious, this was a commentator surrounded by the working stiff traders EXPOSING THE HOME BAILOUT AS AN UTTER FRAUD!
they can dismiss one person, they can’t dismisss all the rest.
I just love the passion of the Italians we say the Truth even if it hurts and sometimes we sort of stretch it a bit.
There's always FOX Business :)
Stop the negative sarcsam. This is the start of something big imo!
Looks like a legitimate “urgent need” to me!
You know, the government is promoting bad behavior! Because we certainly dont want to put stimulus pork and give people a whopping 8 or 10 bucks and think they ought to save it, and in terms of modifications
Ill tell you what, I have an idea. You know, the new administration is big on computers and technology. How about this, President and new administration? Why dont you put up a website to have people vote on the Internet as a referendum to see if we really want to subsidize the losers mortgages, or would we like to at least buy cars and buy houses in foreclosure and give them to people that might have to chance to actually prosper down the road, and reward people that could CARRY the water, instead of DRINK the water!
No, how about we stop paying our taxes? The British did it back in the days of the poll tax, and got real changes. They can't put us all in jail.
“I just love the passion of the Italians...”
I especially love the PATRIOTISM of the Italian community in America! They’ve managed to retain their Italian identity on one level, but are 100% American and love this country. Ditto for the Americans of Norwegian descent.
Thanks for the post.
Really? I hadn't seen it.
I like his words, but notice how the “sober” talking-heads in the studio slapped Santelli down, and made fun of him. THAT is what you can expect from the MSM, regardless if 90% of Americans are against the stimulus plan, the MSM (esp. NBC) still has their ideology to peddle.
Then you didn’t look very hard.
Facebook has a group called The Capitalist Tea Party Ricks Revolution. I dont know how to issue invitations to people whose emails I dont know, so Im just putting it out there.

Help it go viral.
First of all, I was not the poster. Someone else was. I read his post and was glad that it was posted.
As for your comment above, how am I supposed that something exists unless I'm informed of its existence? For example, was I to know this story (below) exists?

"Hi. I'm RetiredArmy. I know everything."
