If you think the rant by CNBCs Rick Santelli hasnt tapped into a reservoir of resentment across this nation, get this:
Since it went online last Thursday, the clip has been viewed more than 1,800,000 times on CNBC.com. Its also been viewed more than 700,000 times on YouTube.com. (These numbers are growing so rapidly that theyll be out of date by the time you read this.)

Not bad for what the White House calls an “uninformed rant.”
It was 1.4 million when I posted Becky Quick’s blog here four days ago. Those numbers are low.
Can someone please convince this guy to run in 2012 with Palin.
Hey MSNBC....YO...! NBC dudes...ya need someone to replace Matthead or Olbermaniac ? Santelli is a winner !
No ?
No advertisements paying talking head salaries on Socialist TV programs, no CEO ‘s on Collective FCC controlled Media.
DUH, YOU GUYS ARE STUPID ! GET OFF THE TV !!
Yeah, I think the numbers are low too. But I didn’t have anything else concrete on the CNBC-hosted video. If anyone has a source for new numbers I will adjust.
He said something during his inspired rant about not wanting to go to DC. Something about not wanting to have to shower continuously. :)
So if you agree with him then try attending one of the scheduled tea parties across the nation. The event planned for Cleveland is posted on the Ohio board.
They haven’t updated it on CNBC. It’s still up there on the most viewed list. A business channel needs to try to maintain neutrality. I’m guessing they’ll update the hit #s in a few days.
Better then being a 60 percenter.
It was heard by at last 50 million others the last 6 days.
Also I told him not to spend a billion tax dollars in proping up Hamas - as his administration plans.
The more heat we put under him, the more likely he will get rattled and do something even more stupid than what he has done already. As Rush says - the Democrats will overreach. The sooner the better!
We need to get the entire public up in arms against his prorams....it's the strategy he used against Bush to get elected, now it's time to turn the tables.
