In a previous thread, I told you about Lucas, the six year old son of my wife's co-worker Mark. Lucas had a good MRI, and they have scheduled surgery for him on Monday. It's an excellent hospital, and an excellent surgeon. Please pray for Lucas, his mom and dad - Laura and Mark, and his sister Grace. Please also, keep the surgeon and his team in your prayers as well.

Angels, we charge you to fill Lucas’ hospital room and surgical room with your presence. Watch over every corner of those rooms and keep them policed from anything that might injure this saint of God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hey, I wanted to let everyone Mark had listed that he just called (1:28). Lucas just got out of surgery and they have not yet seen him, but the surgery went well they were told. Lucas will be in ICU at Children’s Hospital tonight and should be transferred to a room tomorrow. He’ll be in the hospital until Friday or Saturday.
Please continue to keep Lucas and the Shoffners in your prayers.

Surgery went very well. We’re in ICU with Lucas and he’s sleeping soundly.
We will be moved into a normal room tomorrow afternoon.
